I called this company and the owner/tech had me take pictures of the work I requested and based on the pictures he gave me a quote. I was expecting him to come to my home so there wouldnt be surprises later but instead he gave me an outrageous quote just to add a couple ac outlets and wiring behind the wall for my flatscreen tvs and add another ac plug in the garage for my air compressor! 1,200 dollars! I was like WoW! What a waste of time. Either he quoted me that much because he didnt want to come to east county or his service is just that expensive that he loves to rip customers off. I went with another electrician who charged me 150 bucks for installing each of the ac outlets which included HDMI and sound cables on a separate wall plate! This tech from another company told me I would have to call a drywall expert to patch up the small holes he made to fish the wires through behind the wall to make it look clean. I was stoked because the drywall guy patched textured and painted the holes for 300. You do the math! Dont waste your time with this company unless you got plenty of money to throw away!!

Well...we call Dr Wattz Electric again. This time for an antique Art Deco chandelier WITH a plaster molded medallion. Talk about giving him a challenge. His first visit, he admitted not knowing how to install the ceiling medallion, so we rescheduled so he could do some additional research. Better for him to admit it than to do it wrong. Gotta give him bonus points for that.

He came back a week later and installed it. He also came back a week after to install a dimmer switch too. He did a fabulous job.

I contacted Robert yesterday in regards to a dimming issue in my home when a single appliance is being run. Out the 5 electricians I have contacted, Robert was the only one who advised me to check in with PG&E first before getting any work done. The other 4 electricians I spoke with varied in response about the type of work I need done and different price range. PG&E ended up replacing the cables for free since it was their issue and I ended up saving money from needing any work done. Thank you Robert for the advice and honesty. I will definitely contact Robert for any future electrical needs.
