Both Lance and Warren were very courteous and friendly. I had described the job to build a hot electrical line from an existing outlet in my garage and take it outside of the garage for an external garage light ( sconce). They had initially quoted me $200 over the phone. But when Lance came in to assess the actual work, he mentioned that it would take longer than what they had anticipated over the phone ( more around $375-400) based on the hours it would take to do the job. Initially I chose to decline but later I agreed to the revised price. Lance did the job very meticulously and I was very satisfied with the workmanship, courtesy and attitude. Later Warren gave me the final invoice and mentioned that he was able to honor the earlier quote of $200. Would definitely work work with them again! Thank you!

I contacted Dr. Sparks (Warren) as he was doing some work at my neighbors. I had a project involving running a 30AMP circuit power hookup for my travel trailer. Professional service, excellent work.

Given the power outages have continued to increase in frequency and duration, we decided to get a manual transfer switch installed so we could more easily run power off of our portable generator (a transfer switch allows you to plug the generator power directly into your electric panel instead of running extension cords from it).

I did a lot of research and fielded several quotes. Dr. Sparks prevailed and got the job. Kirsten was friendly, polite, and professional while I was gathering quotes and answered every question she could. Anything needing further clarification was taken care of by Warren. He was patient, answering my (many...) questions, and worked with me over the phone and via photos to nail down my needs and capabilities. The price was competitive and fair and they got me right onto their calendar.

Warren was here early and ready to go. They were done in a couple of hours, gave me a tutorial on the new equipment, and answered (even more...) of my questions. They cleaned up and left everything looking better than when they arrived and billing and permit we're handled through Kirsten. Road tested two days later after everything had cured and it worked perfect.

If you like our community as much as I do, we need to support our local businesses that deliver quality work at a fair price - Dr. Sparks is a great place to start. I highly recommend, especially for these transfer switches.

Warren of Dr. Sparks provided excellent work when installing my Tesla EV station, full house generator, and two camera flood lights. Warren and Lance worked well together and of course working with Kirsten was the professional icing on the cake. I didn't have to do anything; she worked with the city to get the permits, scheduled the dates based on my specific schedule and was a true gem to deal with. I was looking for an electrician to install an electric vehicle charging station in my garage. A Tesla employee recommended we get a NEMA 14-50 outlet and order an adapter from Tesla. I did some research and this was the most cost effective way to charge our new Tesla @ home. I reached out to Dr Sparks and a few others. Their communication was the best of all the electricians in the area (Conejo Valley was good too) and since they are both in my city of Agoura Hills, I decided to go with a Dr Sparks after an email with them. I asked how i could save some $$ on my quote, and they suggested I pull the permit myself from the city. I went down to city planning and after getting the right information I received my permit that week and made an appointment for the install. If just so happened to be on the day we received the call that our vehicle was ready for pickup. Warren from Dr Sparks came out with another electrician who were super friendly and started their work. After a few hours they were all done and other than a new 220v Nema 14-50 plug, it didn't look like anything had changed. Come to find out 2 of my breakers were unused and they were able to use existing conduit to run the wires to the new plug. I set up an inspection the next day and passed with flying colors. Thanks Dr Sparks! The invoice was emailed to me and I paid through a link I received from them. Super easy.

It's a pleasure to write this review of Dr. Sparks Electric for the great work they did installing an electric car charging station at my home. They were listed on the Tesla website as a qualified Tesla Wall Connector installer. I reached out to them through the Yelp app. I provided details & photos about my home and I was promptly provided with a very reasonable quote for both a Tesla and additional 220-volt charging station for our other electric cars. We scheduled an installation date about one month after my initial contact. Kirsten was always prompt & professional in her communications with me. They took care of the permit process and came to my house on the appointed day. Warren and Lance did a great job installing both charging stations & linking the Tesla unit to my car through my Wifi. The units look great & have worked just as I expected, providing worry-free & fast car charging at home. I highly recommend Dr. Sparks Electric!

I found Dr. Sparks Electric via the Tesla certified electrician's page. Their office manager Kirsten (handler of chaos) responded immediately with a detailed explanation of their fee structure. The company is extremely transparent, professional, and provides an end-end service (including pulling city permits). The install crew showed up on time and couldn't have done a cleaner job. Can't wait to charge my car!
