Downey Electric was founded by Robert Downey in 1989. While serving in the US Navy, he developed a passion for electrical work. After returning home, he attended trade school and began his career as an electrician. Thanks to his dedication and excellent work ethic, Robert became a Project Manager for an electrical firm. Five years after that, he launched Downey Electric.
