Downey Electric was founded by Robert Downey in 1989. While serving in the US Navy, he developed a passion for electrical work. After coming home, he went to trade school and began his journey as an electrician. With hard work and a solid work ethic, Robert rose to the position of Project Manager at an electrical company. He founded Downey Electric five years later.
