Had some faulty wiring in the house that sparked and was burning (smoke and blackened romex (heavy duty wire). Doug was responsive within 20 minutes of my online inquiry (in the evening) and called to set up an appointment in the morning. Because it was a potentially hazardous situation, in an area of the house with young children, they took the issue seriously and were able to fit me into the schedule quickly when there was a cancellation. I get the impression that Doug keeps busy because he does quality work. ... is a pretty nice guy too! Billing was easy managed through email invoice and online bill-pay. Price was reasonable given the rush job, travel time and time-on-job (about an hour to open things up, patch wiring, check that the circuit was safe, close things up, and discuss work completed).

Doug and his staff have done a bunch of electrical work for us over the years: ceiling fans, outlets, Smart Home, EV charger... Doug repaired a ceiling fan/light that wasn't working when we purchased our home, as well as fixed some electrical issues we were having in our garage a year or so back. Very professional and reasonably priced.

Douglas Electric Electric has repaired lights, added lights to my garage and most recently snaked a 50amp line through my large house to serve my new stove. They manage to find ways to sneak wire around my house where I didn't think it was possible. On all of these projects they do excellent work. But more importantly, they listen to the customer. They are very responsive punctual and clean up after themselves. I would give them ten stars if I could.

Great people and great work.

I had them run electrical for my hot tub last year and they did a very clean job with no issues.

I contacted them recently where I had blamed them for some issues with wiring but it turns out it was from my pool builder and not them, but they still came out the next day and fixed the issue for me. Would definitely recommend them and will be using them again and again.

Needed a few Electric upgrades to my house and was told Douglas Electric was the best Electrician in the area for Residential homes. The Owner, Douglas Arevalo, did the walk through and provided a reasonable quote. His schedule worked with mine just a few weeks later. Him and his Apprentice? were very efficient as I was working from home. All the upgrades were completed in one day! I would without a doubt encourage anyone that wants some upgrades or needs some items fixed to call Douglas Electric up First!

I recently bought my first home and needed to have some electrical work done (installation of an EV charger and changing of my subpanel). I searched around for a bit until I discovered Douglas Electric, which happened to be located right up the street from me. The work Doug did was phenomenal and they completed the job efficiently and professionally (happily charging my car as I type this!).
