Avoid this company (Double A) at all costs. I would give them a zero rating if it was possible. I paid top dollar for the generator and installation and had issues within the first 30 days of installation. The generator would not run during the test cycle, but Double A could not assess the situation. They blamed it on the gas company even though the gas company came out and said it was due to the cheap regulator that Double A had installed. When I contacted Double A with the feedback from the gas company, the Double A manager said they would charge $500 to come out and check the regulator even though I had paid for an annual maintenance program and the issue was due to the cheap regulator they installed. I told them that was ""a ridiculous amount"" and asked to speak with the owner. I was informed that the owner didn't speak with customers. I decided to bring in a licensed gas contractor and he upgraded the regulator and he pointed out that the regulator that Double A had installed was seven years old.
Avoid this company at all costs. Their prices are high and their customer service is terrible.

Costco, a distributor of Generac home generators, referred me to this company (Double A Electric) for a Generac generator installation when I was there shopping one day and saw they (Costco) sells them. Basically you arrange to buy the generator through Costco and they use this company to do the install and turn over everything to them.
I scheduled an appointment and a guy from this company came out and took measurements, took photos, etc. I told him I was getting a couple estimates so give me his best price, which he said he would. He said I would receive an estimate by email. I eventually received the quote which seemed quite high to me (around 6K for the generator and about 10K for the install!). I wrote back that I thought the estimate was very high and then was told I could call them and they would discuss ""possible discounts"" that they ""might be able to apply"" to get the price down somewhat. As I had already stressed to them I wanted their BEST price when they came out and did not have time nor desire to play the back and forth games. I was quite irritated and let them know. I told them I didn't have time to play those games and just wanted the best price. They then got mad at me and removed their estimate from the link format they sent it to, in essence removing my ability to see it!! Unbelievable!
I sent them another email telling them I could not access their estimate any longer and to send it back to me but they refused. Frankly, I was still going to consider them for the job but at that point I decided to move on. I contacted the corporate office at Costco and told them what happened and it seemed like they had heard similar stories, but their hands were tied since that is the only company they use. I told them they should rethink that situation! After it was all said and done I found another company that was about 5K cheaper FOR THE SAME 22K GENERAC GENERATOR INSTALLED!!
If you are using this company for a generator I STRONGLY suggest you shop around. That is unless you like to be strung along with high prices and then the sales tactics of them later telling you that there ""may be discounts"" they could apply if you just talk with their sales people. But if that's what you're looking for this is your place!

AEI Pro Gas plumbed the natural gas line to my pool heater and, in the process, replumbed the gas line to my Generac generator. Two days before Hurricane Ian reached this area, I turned off my main electrical power switch, and the generator did not start. I called Double A, the company that installed my generator, and they provided outstanding service. The next day they sent out a technician and explained that the part AEI installed to regulate the gas flow allowed too much gas to flow to the generator.
Because of the part, the generator would not turn on as a safety precaution. The technician suggested I contact AEI to correctly plumb the line. About ten minutes after the technician left, Double A called me and stated they had the part in stock and would be out to install it. The invoice priced the parts and work at over $3,000, but the company did not charge me.
Even though AEI caused my generator not to work, Double A treated it as a warranty repair. This ensured my generator worked correctly before Hurricane Ian arrival. Double A, thank you for your service and commitment to customer care.
Additionally, when the generator was first installed Double A did an outstanding job. The install was completed on time and the workers did an excellent job cleaning up afterwards.
I would highly recommend Double A for a whole house generator install.
