Shout out to Mr. John McCray at (512)844-9732 handled my situation with no power outside or in the MBath. Due to recent rain a GFI was tripped. He came out and trouble shooted the situation and found an ant nest inside a box outside. Due to the rain it was packed with wet sand. Ants are notorious to electrical boxes outside the mess up GFI's and cause lots of electrical issues. Even though Mr. McCray business card says Dosey Pro Electric and the reviews here not favorable, I have used him in the past and have been very pleased. I believe he might work independent of Dosey Pro Electric. He is licensed.

Do not trust this Company. Definitely don't give them any money up front. I gave them $1600 up front for materials on a job that he agreed to do. He bought about $200 worth of materials and showed up to do work one time. The job was way more than he could handle, but he ensured me that he could do it. Well he never came back and he never returned money that he said he would. I had to hire someone else to do the work and I lost the rest of the money. Don't be a fooled by his kind demeanor like I was.

I am new to the area and rented a house. I had several issues with the electric from the very beginning. The landlady had two electricians who claimed to have fixed the issue and even replaced a water heater (which didn't need to be replaced). She finally called Dosey Pro. John figured out the problem within 10 min and it was fixed within the hour. Total cost was $170. To bad she already shoveled out $1300 before calling them. John was the best. He knew what he was doing and didn't over charge her. I learned a big lesson this week. Thank you John you're my savior

I just spoke with someone through text at Dosey Pro Electric - found them through Craigslist. Absolutely one of the worst experiences I've had. STAY AWAY. The person I spoke to, Abel, was rude and insulted me, not to mention he quoted $925 for 2 vanity lights, a ceiling light, and 2 light switches installed. MAYBE 3 hours of work if you're slow!!!

STAY AWAY!

DO NOT EMPLOY THIS COMPANY. Ismael Naranjo, the only representative I've seen from this company, is a fast talking salesman who gets your money but doesn't do the work he's agreed to do. He does not show up on time, he does not listen to the homeowner's requests for fixture placement, he does not write down ANY thing so that he can tell you ""you agreed to pay for that separately"". He went around my general contractor asking me for money directly so the GC wouldn't know, he convinced me my wiring needed to be upgraded from aluminun to copper but after stripping all the sheetrock off my walls to expose and replace the wiring he had no intention of replacing the sheetrock leaving me with bare studs in ALL my rooms. He talked me into can lights in my whole house ""because its the modern thing to do"", but then he put them in the worst places and would not respect my wishes to change their locations. He installed an outlet in my bathroom 6"" from the faucet (which is against code). He insisted that If I wanted to have ceiling fans in my new home that I would have to buy them myself but he was removing my old ones and throwing them out. After 9 months I still do not have plates for my switches and outlets. He removed my A/C vent in the living room to put a can light there, but never patched the ceiling or relocated the A/C vent. I could go on, but I think you get the point. I am filing a complaint with the Texas Department of License and Regulation against this individual.

Dosey Mitchell is a complete rip off. Worst contractor I've ever had in 20 years. He had screwed up so many things during our remodel that I don't even know where to start. He disappeared 5 different times for days, leaving us one time without hot water for 3 days. He never returned calls or even show up when he says he will. When I did finally get him out to fix a few of his errors, he had a bring another electrician to do it (looking over his shoulder as if in electrician school) and then wanted to charge me more money. Dosey claims to be a Master Electrician ??? I had to go back and straighten out every single outlet and switch, even having to cut open drywall to pull a box and re-install. Right this moment I have an electrician fixing several more of his screw ups and finding out much of the work Dosey did is not even code. Don't Hire this man! He has no clue what he is doing. I paid him almost $5000.00 for labor only and now having to pay another electrician to fix most of it.

I would give them zero stars if possible! Save your money, and stay away from them.

I had electrical wiring for the kitchen Island done through this company. Dosey pro electrician was completely unavailable after taking the initial payment. He was 2 weeks late in providing services. I had to call and complain to the owner (Dosey) to have the electrician come back to finish up. He did an awful job and I had to pay $100 extra to my handyman to finish up all the hookups. I would never hire anyone from Dosey again in the future. They charged me $600 for an incomplete job. I got quotes for the same job for $400 but still went ahead with them because they were on Angie's list and yelp and were recommended by my contractor. I was totally ripped off by them.

I agree with Michelle F.'s comments. I got ripped off too. I suggest Michelle report Dosey to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation so that his license can be reviewed. Dosey and Abel quoted me to do a project for $10,000. After I spent $12,000+ on the contract and his crew demanded a lot more money then walked off the job with only 60% of the job completed. His crew made errors with the wiring and with the house frame that now I have to hire another electrician and framer to repair. He did the exact same thing to me as he did to Michelle. I am in the process to take him to court.
