Met Mike ""Dorn Electric"" from a home warranty call. Mike called me early in the day to make an appointment, worked with my schedule and was on time. He offered me solutions to my problem when home warranty rejected the claim and while he was here he even fixed a switch for me that he wasn't call out to do. Mike was friendly and professional. I will use him for future electrical projects.

I was referred to Dorn Electric thru our home warranty provider. I was so pleased to see a professional electrician, on time(less than 5 hours from first call to home warranty) with a proper work truck. Told him the issues, knew exactly with what I described what the problem was. He was 100% right on about the issue. Melting wires behind a 220 dryer plate. Could have been a FIRE issue that other electricians who had been out here missed. I highly recommend Mike-Dorn Electric for all your ELECTRIC NEEDS

Dorn was sent out by my warranty company and did a great job. he was the 2nd electrician they had sent out and he fixed things right away. he was fast and also got everything covered under the warranty. I was very pleased with his work.

Mike (Dorn Electric) was very responsive and solved a difficult problem very quickly. A portion of my upstair area was completely dead and he was able to pinpoint the problem in less than an hour. It was complicated because the problem was not at the circuit breaker box, but was within the house. Thanks Mike!

I was referred to Dorn through a home warranty provider. I was able to get an an appointment time for the following week but when the day came around, Mike was late. When I called him to get an ETA he told me that they only schedule in 2hour windows. Makes sense to me, but it would have been nice to be told that from the beginning.

Advice to Dorn Electric- if you don't want upset customers you should set appointments for a time range instead of telling customers a specific time.

Dorn electric was sent to us by our home warranty company. When he showed up he immediately diagnosed the problem without running any test. The job and cost involved exceeded $3000 and was not going to be covered by our home warranty as described by him. We paid our trade feed call and thanked him for his time. The next day we got a second estimate and the job was done in less than an hour and cost a total of $225 which was refunded in full by our home warranty company. The second electrician ran all kinds of test and diagnosed the problem properly. I can't imagine having used Dorn electric and paid him all that money for nothing. I reported him to the home warranty company in the hopes that they will discontinue sending him out for service calls.
