Recommended by another professional, Mike Dorn is the first electrician we have dealt with in 30 years that we can confidently recommend. We were so pleased with his job performance on his first project, we had him out again for a more extensive project. He was on time & willing to give his opinion, advice, & recommendations on what we needed. To top it off, he was also a quick, efficient, and tidy worker. He even broke down all the boxes and hauled them away for us! We highly recommend Mike Dorn.

go elsewhere. i don't take pleasure in writing bad reviews but this was a very bad experience. had a whole house fan that needed replacing and it was arranged via a home warranty company. we were left waiting for the work to be done due to dorn scheduler oversight. the owner seemed more interested in blaming his employees than demonstrating any concern or regret.

most importantly, the work: a fan was installed in december. finally needed it this summer and realized it didn't work. turns out the fan installed is not the fan needed for this system. it doesn't work and would never work. had they tested it, they would have known that. I asked for the owner to correct the problem and he deferred again to a lower level employee and ignored subsequent texts.

i understand the challenges perhaps of working with a home warranty company but i can't recommend a company that doesnt take ownership or accountability for mistakes and doesn't stand by their work.

Recently I had the opportunity to contact Mike at Dorn Electric to have electricity brought to a fountain pump and two 220 electrical lines to outside patio heaters. I received several bids but Mike was willing to help install the pump and electric wall patio heater as well as the electrical lines. He was professional, personable and competent. He stayed in continual communication while doing the work, let me know when he was leaving, would leave for lunch or other errands. I have already recommended Mike to a few neighbors who are looking for a good electrician.
Mike, at Dorn Electric was also more reasonable for the work completed than several other electricians that provided bids. . I plan to recommend Mike at Dorn Electric for any electrical work going forward.. I am giving Dorn Electric FIVE STARS.
