I found Dorn Electric and Mike on Yelp and so happy I did!! We were desperately looking for someone to install 3 new ceiling fans ASAP as we had painters coming the following day. Mike responded within minutes to my request and got us on his schedule within hours. He showed up on-time and ready to work. He was affordable, professional and the fans look beautiful! Great job! I needed to have Mike come out to solve a small issue. When I called him to describe the problem he gave me a couple of diagnosis. When we ran through his suggestions and the problem still existed, he came out as soon as possible. Within minutes he solved the problem and restored our power. This guy is very unprofessional! Despite some bad reviews, I decided to give him the benefit of doubt. I booked an appointment with him and the day before, I contacted HIM to confirm and he then tells me he gave my appointment away! No warning or notification whatsoever. I guess he picks and chooses the appointments he wants to keep. I'm glad I didn't give him a dime. Don't bother booking anything with him because he does not take your time seriously. Find a real professional and save yourself the headache.

My wife and I were having some issues with our lighting in our living room dining room and hallway. As I consider myself somewhat handy I went ahead and checked the wires, breakers, etc .with no success. I was stumped and all breakers having proper voltage I knew it was something in between a broken line, bad switch, something so I asked my wife reached out to Facebook for recommendations and Dorn Electric was one of them with many recommendations so I called and spoke with Mike he was very professional and was even willing to walk me through some of the standard checks at this point I proceeded to go back and double check my work I was unsuccessful so I reached back out to Dorn Electric same day he was able to support a visit within an hour and a half and repaired our issues within 30min. I know that this could've been a costly repair but he was honest professional and friendly my recommendations To my family friends and neighbors will definitely be communicated thanks again Mike we appreciate you coming out and getting everything working again God bless

I needed to add recess lighting around my house, since all I've been using were lamps. I contact Dorn Electric and spoke to Mike. He provided me with a great and reasonable quote. He and Tim were able to get the job done within a couple of weeks.

They ended up adding recess lighting in the living room, dining room, kitchen, family room, hallways, upstairs hallway, laundry room and the master bedroom. They also installed ceiling fans in 3 rooms, which 2 rooms never had ceiling fans before. Their job was great!

Mike was friendly and accommodating. If I needed anything specifically done he would get it done. He never left a project undone. After the project was finished, there were painters who came to paint the interior but needed to remove the lights. They removed them but ended up damaging them. I contacted Mike. He said he had to order the lights and as soon as he got them in he came to install them.

I would say that during the time he and Tim were cutting out the drywall to fish the wires through there were so much drywall dust and debris that went everywhere. It was annoying to clean the appliances and other surfaces daily. Wished they had placed plastic wrapping around the area where the dust or debris would get onto so it would be more of an easy cleanup.

Other than the dust and debris, overall, they did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend Dorn Electric to anyone who is looking to do any electrical installation, wiring etc...Thanks Mike!
