Don is great. Our house had a partial power outage and he was able to come on the same day of my call, troubleshoot and found where the problem is, which turned out to be a bigger problem than what he expected...for this he went ahead and skipped his dinner time to get the equipment from home depot and his store and rushed back to my house to get the problem fixed before sunset. Great work ethic and straight to the point with reasonable pricing!

Don helped me out a lot without even coming to my house. One of my motion sensor lights and exterior outlet went out recently. I spent a few hours trying to figure out why I had a dead circuit (turning on and off the circuit breaker etc). Don took the time on the phone to go through the steps of diagnosing my problem which turned out to have a quite simple fix. Most other electricians would have charged me to come out. It turned out, all I had to was reset the GFI switches in the house. My light worked in the end and I did not need Don to come in. Don saved me the hassle of reinstalling a new motion sensor light / electrical outlet. If I ever need an electrician to come out for actual repairs, I will definately call Don, again! Thanks again! You are awesome!

Don was awesome. Not only did he show up the same day he was notified, he arrived with a wealth of knowledge and a friendly and down to earth demeanor. As he troubleshooted. He educated my husband along the way and repaired our electrical box in no time at all. For all the work he did, his fee way minimual. Others might have taken advantage of our lack of knowledge, but he only replaced what was needed. Don is one of the few honest electricians around. Don't hesitate to call him.

Don really knows what he is doing. He moved an outlet for me to accommodate some cabinets I was having installed which involved cutting a hole in the drywall, moving the outlet up by 4-5 inches and then patching the original hole. It all went smoothly and looked good. He is a very friendly guy and explained everything he did as he was doing it. (I must admit much of it went over my head, but it was still nice to hear). I will definitely call him again when I need electrical work

Don is a wonderful person and an amazing electrician. I sent an email asking for a quote regarding the outdoor lighting at our office. Don called me back the same day and was able to schedule a time to come out the following day.
After a brief examination of our archaic wiring system, Don was able to identify the problem, fix it, and check for other issues all in an 90 minutes! He was able to go over some other non electrical issues he happened to see and made several suggestions on how to fix them.
We will be calling Don to fix our electrical issues in the future. He is simply amazing!

Have to agree with the other reviewers, Don is definitely the nicest (and most interesting/entertaining) electricians you'll ever meet.

I called him because one of my circuit breakers kept tripping, and he spent over an hour trying to reproduce the problem), and even helped try to troubleshoot the issue, despite the fact that the breaker refused to trip while he was there, no matter what I did (of course). And he even drew diagrams of my house to help explain how he could fix the issue if the tips he gave me didn't work out.

And while he worked, he gave me all kinds of great advice on other things around my house that I could do to fix other issues... for no charge, other than the basic cost of his visit.

Don is the nicest, most experienced electrician you are likely to ever meet. Full disclosure. Don performed services for me over five years ago. I retained the services of Don's Electric for some outdoor electrical work I needed with my pool pump. From start to finish, Don was ever so professional, explaining the problem and taking care of my issues with the confidence and ease of a journeyman professional. To top it off, his prices were very reasonable and I felt that my money was well spent for quality work done right. Fast forward to 2016, when I had retained the services of another electrician who was scheduled to visit my house the next day for some electrical work in my bathroom. I thought the price quoted was a bit steep, so on a lark I decided to call Don at 9:30 p.m. on a Friday night to ask for some advice. Not only did Don pick up right away, he remembered me from five years ago, recalling the details of my house and the job he did for me. Don generously advised me on my job and was kind enough to let me know if the other electrician was charging me fairly. We ended up using the other guy but I should have called Don in the first place. If you are looking for a highly experienced electrician that's not going to do any Mickey Mouse work, or one that is honest and very reasonably priced, I would highly recommend Don's Electric.

I came home and a palm tree branch snapped one my wires leading to the garage. It was raining so I was worried that the water may spark a fuse. I called Don and explained my problem and he was able to trouble shoot the problem and came over right away. He replaced the wires and was the nicest Electrician I have ever met. My garage was up and running with an hour. I will hire him again for any issues I may have. He is licensed and does great work. The price is right. Worth calling.

Had a light switch start to make a sizzle sound in the bathroom. Looked at reviews of local electricians in Monrovia and decided on Don as his reviews were really good. We agreed on a time and he showed up shortly after.
He came in and fixed the light switch easily. In fact he corrected the faulty wiring that was done prior by someone else. He then asked me if I had any other issues. I rolled off a few other items off the top of my head and he systematically went to each diagnosed and corrected them. Thanks to him my microwave and ceiling fan now work. Wasn't expecting him to go above and beyond but i'm glad he did. He's set the bar high and i doubt any one will really pass it. He's my go to guy now. I wish everyone had his level of professionalism.
