American home shield contacted Donnie's Electric to perform a job at my home a month that they are contracted with. They accepted the job a month ago but have yet to come out to my house. I've called them 3 times and they keep telling me they are busy and will see if they can move my work order up. They don't call me back to update me. Then I found out that work orders from AHS are not a propyl them and accept new job requests after AHS assigned my service request. I was informed that AHS has guidelines on how much they will pay a contractor, which I don't agree with, however, if Donnie's Electric doesn't like working with AHS, then they should take their service off AHS service provider list. Donnie's also told me that they are all the way in Clarksville and not in Texarkana! Wow! Clarksville is not that far from Texarkana. I will never use them for any personal use nor for my business in Texarkana!
Frustrated customer.

I wish 0 stars was an option! I did not choose this company, but they're contracted with our home warranty so this is where we ended up ! Sadly they were assigned to us for both an electrical and a plumbing issue.
Electrical issue was diagnosed and has sat unresolved now for 7 weeks. The plumbing issue (leaks) have now persisted for 5 weeks. I have been ""assigned"" technicians 4 times and every time they are a no show.
When I call, I end up talking to a ""scheduler"" who gives me a new date to come out (maybe) and a healthy dose of bad attitude.
Save your money! Call someone else even if they aren't under warranty and you pay out of pocket.

A new septic was required to be installed prior to closing on our house. Donnie's was the business that performed the installation. They failed to level. There are huge holes in my back yard by the septic tanks that they failed to fill in. They left sharp and broken pvc piping all in my backyard along with sharp metal all over the backyard. And they cut the electrical cord running from the house to the shed that they failed to replace/fix. Every time I call they tell me that Donnie will call me to set up a date to have this all fixed. I've called 6-7 times and always get promised the same thing that never actually ever happens. I wouldn't recommend using Donnie's to anyone. Don't do it!

THE WORST!!! They were the option I was given through the warranty company. They never returned a phone call even after they said they would call me back. I called them 3 weeks straight to have them come out & fix a microwave that was covered under warranty. When I called their office, I was always given the same excuse why they didn't call or show. I know this is not just a one-time thing because I've had to deal with them on other warranty issues and it was the exact same thing. Do not use these guys.

Awful. Terrible, unprofessional. Would never let them back on my property. Save yourself the frustration & choose someone else.

What started out as a ""hey, it seems like the A/C isn't working as well as it did before"" home warranty claim turned into a full replacement of our aging (and rusted!) unit, inside and out. Donnie's did a fantastic job on obtaining replacement equipment, installing and testing it, and then cleaning everything up afterwards. Josh patiently answered all of our questions and was great to work with throughout the process. We really had a great experience with these guys.

I have used in past. This time they never showed up ! Nor called me. I contacted them the next day said would be here the. Again no show no call.
I called after holiday, asked why not show up said were busy. I asked when they would be here said 3 days since I was not on schedule.
Do good work but so unreliable

Called them about a plumbing issue (blocked sewer line) on Friday, they finally came the following Tuesday at 7:00pm. They snaked the line, told me the blockage was on the city of Bogata, and that if I had any further problems to call them. City checked their lines, said it was NOT on them, and to call the plumber back. I did, on Wednesday, and they were busy, called repeatedly over the next WEEK, crew was always busy elsewhere, and I was told maybe tomorrow.... On Thursday (almost two weeks after I first called, I was told that they had not yet been back (I thought maybe I had missed them). I told the office person never mind I would call someone else. Called Diamond C plumbers in Paris. They arrived at 9:00 am on Friday morning and fixed the problem within a couple of hours (problem was in my part of the line).

Not happy with this company! My experience has been less than what I had hoped. From unreturned calls, to what appears to be overcharges, to what appears to be illegal convenience fees for paying with a debit card.
I was charged $450 to level my A/C unit to help with condensation drain. It did not work. One other company said they normally charge a $75 service call fee for the service. Another said no more than $200. Both of these companies had good reviews on Angie's List.
I was charged $132 for 20 feet of hanging strap for a drain pan. Home Depot sells what looks to be the same strap for 20 cents a foot. This appears to be a 3,200% upcharge. Another company said they normally do not charge for strap since it is so cheap.
I was charged a $36 courtesy fee for paying with my debit card. I checked the Texas Attorney General website and found this is not legal.
I finally got in touch with the owner of the company and secured a refund on the hanging strap as a billing error. I also received a refund on drywall screws and $200 of the $450 labor charge. The owner said I would not receive any money back on the convenience fee, even though I advised him of my research on that charge not being legal in Texas.
So, I am somewhat satisfied that I received a partial refund but wish I had not needed to go through such an ordeal to correct the matter.

Our experience with Donnie's Plumbing, Electric, Heat & Air has been horrible. We have had them out numerous times since March 2015 regarding our Rinnai tank less hot water heater. Each time they came out there was a different reason why they didn't fix it the time before, even though the same code kept appearing. To be fair there was once they came to fix the unit and our phone lines were down.
Both Donnie and Josh are inattentive to the customer, not returning phone calls or showing up in a timely manner. We waited over 7 weeks for them to show up the last time and the response was they were waiting on a part to come in. However, they did not order a part and when they arrived, no part was installed. Ultimately, they disconnected the gas to the hot water heater, left, and have refused to come and install a new hot water heater. We would definitely not recommend them in fact I would stay completely away from them.
