Our shiny new dishwasher was delivered by Home Depot -- and then we found out that the old dishwasher was hard-wired in for electrical! We needed someone to come out the same day to convert that line to an outlet. I called several electricians with no takers, until someone recommended Oscar from Doll Electric.

Oscar came out the same day and did a perfect job of getting a new outlet in place. While he was there, I also asked him to bypass the ballasts on our old fluorescent light fixtures, and to convert an old 2-prong outlet to a GFCI outlet.

All his work was professional and his knowledge showed. He charged a reasonable amount for the work.

I'd certainly call on Doll Electric again when I need an electrician!

Called Doll Electric about doing some rewiring in my back yard. The guy was pleasant on the phone, arrived when he said he would, looked at the job, gave me a reasonable verbal estimate, and even told me when he would be able to fit the job into his schedule. I said it sounded great, we shook hands, and he said he would email the written estimate later. A few days passed, and no estimate. Sent him a text message inquiring about the estimate and got no response. Waited a few more days, called him and left a voice message, asking if he would forward the estimate so we could schedule the work. What did I get? NOTHING. No estimate, no return text message, no returned call. Total waste of my time!

Excellent work IF HE EVER RESPONDS... I had him do work I my house. Then I needed corrections and updates. No return call. Then I tried to hire him for a Design Client. He promised a bid. I gave him a 2 day extension. Then he never answered. I LOST a big project due to his lack of interest OR follow through.

I contacted Oscar in June and he came to my house to prepare an estimate for some work in my garage that I wanted done in July. He told me he would get the estimate to me by the end of that week. I never heard from him again. If he wasn't interested in the job, it would have been more professional to let me know rather than just ignore me. I didn't bother to contact him again and I hired someone else for the work.

I accidentally found Oscar when looking through Yelp reviews. I telephoned and was able to reach him immediately. We made an appointment and he made sure to keep in touch with me regarding the time frame that he would be at my house.
He arrived with his son, Charlie and they both went to work on the project that I needed completed. They were so very personable and efficient. You can really tell that Oscar knows his business. He has years of experience but he has maintained his great people skills throughout that time.
They completed the job quickly and correctly. They were just such great people to work with. I have found a new electrician for life (Oscar, never retire - good electricians are hard to find). I would recommend Oscar to anyone who is looking for a knowledgeable, skilled electrician who has superior interpersonal skills. He is a real find (for sure). You couldn't do better than Oscar when looking for an electrician.
