Guy came out to check my still under warranty unit. Made me pay $97 for his visit which I wasn't told over the phone then tried to quote me
$350 new Thermostat (no smart technology)
$160 for a capacitor (which is covered by warranty)
$280 for 2 surge protectors (LOL)
$379 to replace my tent cover in attic (one I have now had no damage is works fine)
$950 for a UV kit install

Tech left my T-Stat rigged to bypass with exposed wires. I doubled checked the status light on the motherboard, which he said was functioning properly, and the manual let me know it was a blown fuse.

$4 for a pack of 5 fuses AC running fine now.

Literally just tried to scam me and did not even honor their warranty.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

We had a brand new system installed in a home we bought a month before. (September of 2018). The installation took four days but the men doing the install were helpful and professional. It's now been just over 8 months that we've paid for a $15,000 unit and our home is NOT cooling properly! Sometimes it's 85 degrees upstairs and the downstairs is 75 degrees. It's only been recently that this issue is apparent since the summer heat is just setting in for southeast Texas. I was brushed aside by the tech that came today and not only did we have to pay an $80 fee to come out (for a system only installed on September 25th 2018) but he said our thermostat must have reset. After I told him I already knew that wasn't what happened. I'm literally disgusted with Dr. Cool/Professor Heat. I'll never recommend them again. #wegotscrewed

Had an issue with heater, the technician kept changing different parts , finally suggested that is is non repairable. Charged me for the visit and taking out the parts that he had put in $ 300 plus
Had Mr Martinez from Mechanical Climate Control look at the AC, he just changed the igniter and the heater was back working, didn't even charged me.
Wasted my money and time with Doctor Cool.

Initially rated a 1. But, after speaking with the owner, our problem was apparently a one-off and doesn't normally happen. At least he was concerned.

I'm writing this review to express my satisfaction on the performance and readability of this outfit. My investment property tenant called saying the AC wasn't working properly. I went down the list on google with no hope, until i came across this company. It was a smooth transaction from beginning to end, that same day. Very professional. My go to AC company for my investment and personal home.

so , since we didnt buy thier 12000 a/c unit now we get a invoice for unauthorized work. And the tech when into our cabinet and help himself to Clorox , I guess to clean drains, and left his trash in attic. Dont need that in League City. UNREAL

Very pleased with the company and service. My air conditioner went out. So I called, and the lady who answered was very friendly and helpful with all of my questions. They were able to send someone over quickly, and he was very professional and polite. I always feel a little uneasy when I have to hire companies to come over to my house, but not with this company, I felt very comfortable the entire time. Quote was fair, and they were able to fix the problem that same day. Overall, they're a trustworthy company that I will defiantly use in the future, and refer to friends and family.

Very good service from these guys. I had my 45 year old duct work replaced by them.
Showed up on time, prepped the area with drop cloths and went to work. Did a great job, changing out the ducts, and getting the ones way in the back of the attic that required crawling though tight spots to get to.
Cleaned up and left the place looking good.
Job was done on time, and as per quote.
Very friendly and knowledgeable staff.
Great service all around, and I'll continue to use Dr. Cool.
