Flat rates are set to cover the absolute worst conditions to guarantee the contractor profits. This might look fair, if your situation do not necessitate a worst-case scenario, there’s no reason for you to pay for it. We bill is based on true job costs with a reasonable markup and tax. You receive value for your money and we are compensated for what we deserve.

Dobbs & Company was purchased in 1999, in October from Ronald Terry Electric, Inc. We rebranded in January 2012 to Dobbs & Company Electrical Contractors, Inc.. We specialize in residential, commercial, and industrial work.

Greg is a Morgan County native and the youngest son of David and Wonda Dobbs. Greg grew up in a construction-oriented family, as his father worked in the building industry in North Alabama for over four decades plus. Prior to purchasing Ronald Terry Electric, Greg worked one of the top industrial electrical contractors in the area. His experience included positions such as an industrial electrician in high voltage, PLC programming, and systems design. During his last years with the company, he served as the lead electrical estimator. He has experience in steel mills, the auto industry, aircraft manufacturing, copper tubing, appliance manufacturing, grain processing, the chemical processing and film industry, cryogenic systems, and the tech industry. With such a diverse experience from hands-on work to management, it was a natural progression for him to establish his own business.
