They installed three GFCI receptacles (outlets) for three bidets I recently installed. One required that they tap into an outlet close by. This meant tearing out some drywall. I knew in advance that I needed to patch the drywall after the fact. They did well in preserving as much of the old drywall to make it easier to patch. The other two required minimal drywall removal.

They did well in installing the receptacles, clean and well positioned.

For the most part post work in clean up was ok. This is the only reason for four and not five stars. There was still a little debris on the floor after they left the job.

Both workers were very polite and did the work with very little disruptions.

As always I go through Yelp to find contractors to do simple tasks that I am on able to do because of work.

As always I do my research first before I contact a contractor.

I purchase a floodlight cam from ring.com for added security for my home. My previous electrician would have done it for $75 because you're just replacing a light fixture but she was off Island.

The owner Asher stated it will cost $275, for just changing a light fixture with my experience dealing with electrician in the pass I thought this was outrageous costs for a 15 minute job.

Good thing yelp give you the options more than one company, I found a honest electrician and the job was done less than 10 minutes for $80.

We had requested a quote for installation of a Tesla wall charger
We called on Monday DEH and spoke with a rep who took our information and promised a return call the next day. After waiting a few extra days, we called back on Thursday and spoke to Asher. He apologized for the miscommunication and said he would meet us at our house. Interestingly enough, he did, in fact, arrive as promised.

We had a good, thorough conversation about the project, and I was more than ready to hire Asher and his team.

However, in a weird twist of events, he promised a quote within ""a few days"" and then we never heard from Asher again.

What is especially disconcerting is the fact that I explained to Asher that it was difficult to find electricians to do Tesla work. I explained that, even the ""recommended"" Hawaii companies on Tesla's website either did not return calls or are no longer in business.

I further explained to Asher that, if the project turned out satisfactorily, I would be more than happy to personally notify Tesla of a qualified electrical company... and recommend DEH as a ""Tesla-certified"" contractor.

Inexplicably, after promising the quote, we never heard from Asher again.

Company came out and did an in house inspection and over the phone as well. Very knowledgeable and was willing to work with me quickly and and answer my questions. They were very polite and responsive on the phone and willing to listen to my needs and treat me well, unlike E I Electrical who were rude and blew me off and told me they couldn't install wires in the ceiling to outlets and had to have on the outside of the walls. Direct Electric Crew came out and did great job and very respectful and helpful and I know when they come back for the second stage will be just as professional. They broke a light switch which was being very difficult to run the wires to but they got it done and willing to replace switch at no cost on second visit. They had another job to go to at the last minute but still took good care of me before leaving and did not rush my work. Main office was very helpful with sub panel advice and making sure I am taken care of for the next visit also. They definitely show appreciation for their work and customers. They also take credit cards which is useful as it takes days to transfer money from savings account. Definitely will do business with them again and recommend to others. Thanks

Had 2 ceiling fans installed in rooms with no hookups in ceiling. Angel came, was extremely courteous and friendly, he did a great job, fans are working great!!

Everyone I dealt with was professional and courteous and super easy to get everything scheduled and done. The day of install Angel was my technician and he did a phenomenal job! We ran into a hiccup as my EV charger required a different outlet, but Angel went to the local store and picked up the right one and had it installed in no time. Excellent service and value!

Still five stars from me. I used their services again earlier this month because I needed a ceiling fan installed over my dining table (and the existing light fixture removed). I also needed LED lights put in place what we had in my bedroom and another bedroom in the house. Angel and his co-worker (sorry, I can't remember his name!) were very fast and they completed the work I needed in about an hour. They are also very friendly and I love my new fixtures. We live on the north shore at Sunset Beach and used Direct Electric to install a NEMA 14-50 outlet at our house for a Tesla. Asher came and did the initial estimate. The crew that came on installation day was fantastic. They worked through a few minor challenges like crawling under a 50 year old house without any concern. While they were working I remembered I wanted to add an outlet inside our kitchen. They called Asher and worked out the added cost which was nominal and got it done.

I was so happy with them I hired them to add another Tesla charger at my office in Waipio. I would highly recommend them and have done so to several of my clients.
