My father was an electrician. I spent my childhood in the family trade, and when my father retired, I took the step to launch Direct Electric. My license dates back to 1998 & became state certified in 2004.
I have been involved in electrical work my entire life, & I find great satisfaction in it. Outside of work, I enjoy cycling, spend time playing baseball with my son, and I love cooking with my wife.

I have to say im very impressed! I don't write many reviews but had to after the service I just had with David from Direct Electric! I called with a problem with no power getting to the living room outlets. When I called he said he could be at my place within the hour. As promised, he arrived in 45 min. Went to work and within about 5 min figured out the problem. A sneaky GFI outlet was tripped in another room which cut the power off to the living room. Weird setup right. He was very nice and knowledgeable. He explained to me the reason why the GFI cut the power to the other room. I then told him of a light switch that did not work, 5 min later he figured it out and fixed that too. Amazing service. I would recommend Direct Electric to anyone. I will only be using them again in the future! Thanks again David!

I really like Direct Electric. Dave came out on a rainy Saturday and spent 2 hours repairing and replacing light fixtures and bulb replacements. Last year Dave and crew updated our electrical box and installed numerous outlets in heavily used rooms.
What a great company, very reliable and honest. Can't beat that.

Dave and Sonny have been amazing - they picked up a sloppy job half finished by our last electrician and finished it off even better than he would have. Sonny was able to figure out how to hang difficult lights from our vaulted ceiling when I didn't even think it could be done! Dave is always very responsive via text - that's right, I have Direct Electric programmed into my phone. Thanks guys!

I had an excellent experience with Direct Electric. They answered the phone, came to my house the same day to give me an estimate, were able to do the work quickly, and did a terrific job. I highly recommend them.

Direct electric is an amazing company . They were able to come check out my problem promptly and both employees where extremely friendly. They did an excellent job they fixed our electricity super quickly after we had tripped the electricity due to our smoker they did a bada** job.we highly Recommend this company , thank you guys!!! Anytime something happens we shall call yuh! Woopwoop , thank you thank you thank you!

Dave has already been here, diagnosed and fixed my problem involving electricity to my garbage disposal while I'm still rating for return calls from two other ""highly rated"" electricians. Dave is competent, very professional and his prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I had Dave come out to my house in Boulder Creek to upgrade my service from 125 to 200amp, replace my subpanel, and install a portable generator setup. I have nothing but good things to say. Dave was always on time, communicative, and on the level. I don't usually do reviews, but because I've had such bad luck with other contractors coming through, I thought I'd throw out another good review for Direct electric. Thanks again.

Made an appointment for a free estimate. When they arrived I repeated that the call was for a free estimate and they agreed. I had 2 problems- 1. A possibly non functioning vent in a bathroom, and 2. A light was out in the kitchen.
They spent time testing the vent and showed me that it was working, but just not strong enough in the damp environment--did not think it needed to be replaced. They also climbed up a ladder to high kitchen ceiling to test the light and make the assessment that we needed a new unit. I opted to get the unit and call them when I had it.
I offered payment for the work they did (were probably at the house about 45 mins) but they wouldn't accept anything, as the call was for a free estimate. I got more than the estimate and will definitely call them in the future for any electrical needs.

Dave has helped me with a couple of small jobs on two occasions. He came by my house at my convenience and resolved the problems quickly. He also provided an estimate for some major electrical work that needs to be done and explained the issues very clearly. I will definitely be hiring Dave and Sonny for that project.

I called up and asked how much it would be to swap out a fixture in my home and I was asked if they could call me right back. I hadn't given my name and I was kind of odd about how I had just called and said ""give me an estimate please"" without even saying my name, so I was pleased with the nice response but obvious response that they may have to call me back. Less than 10 minutes later I got a call back and I got a quote to my satisfaction and Dave said I could have a window at 1-3. Since I was so prompt in saying okay on the phone, he said, ""oh well, or you can have 12-2"" (it was about 11:30) so I snatched it up.
So here I am now with my awesome new lamp up and I an pumped because I am persnickity and he had to deal with me asking him to move it up and down and change the height like 3 times and twist it around a few more times and so on... plus he cleaned off the plate once it was done- all with about 15' ceilings. Awesome.
Now all I have to do is figure out how to twist the shade around- neither of us could figure it out we even tried turning the entire fixture around and that didn't work... (off to call Crate and Barrel)
