I called Dipple to fix our heater. I described the problem in detail and suggested it might be the flame sensor in hopes that they would come with the part to fix it. The guy was apparently a new hire. He shows up two days later and goes up into the attic and the first thing he does is call someone to tell him what to do. Apparently, they couldn't figure it out over the phone so another guy shows up 15 minutes later. Thirty minutes later they come down and proudly announce, ""It's your flame sensor, sir!"" They told me they would come back in two days with the part. I about fell to the floor when they told me the price to replace the flame sensor, $587. The typical pricing on the internet goes from $80 to $240. I thought well maybe my system was complex. Just my luck. They made be pay one-half upfront. Two days later, the guy came back and installs the flame sensor. He takes 15 minutes to install it. It didn't fix the problem. I guess they thought they had a sucker and said it would cost $361 more to replace the gas valve. I knew where this was going. The cost was up there where it made sense to replace the entire unit. I refused to pay more. We had an agreed-upon price to fix the heater, and they reneged. I talked to a manager. He agreed to have the part removed and to refund what I had paid. He didn't refund the money as promised, so I had to refute the credit card payment. A new valve would not have fixed the problem. I suppose the next move was an up-sale me on a new unit. The problem, you ask? A clogged orifice where the pressure sensor attaches. NO parts were required to fix it. Once located, it took 15 seconds to fix. After studying the situation, I found that it was IMPOSSIBLE for it to be the flame sensor. They had NO justification for replacing the gas valve. Zero. For their lack of expertise, their stupid expensive pricing, and for reneging on the promised credit, I'll never use Dipple again. I got the impression they were trying to punish me for not accepting their yearly maintenance contract. The woman I talked to originally made a reference to that. It is not my first bad experience with Dipple, but it will be my last. Never again!

I chose Dipple based on my daughter's past experience and reasonable pricing. They responded quickly and the work to install 5 ceiling fans and 3 bathroom light fixtures was adequate. But the pricing was outrageous!. They charged $382 each to install ceiling fans. The bill for 4 hours work was over $2000. I am new to this area and feel totally scammed. I do not recommend this company.

I had an appointment scheduled yesterday that I set last week and they never showed up. When I called, they said there was not a record of the apt in their system so I asked them if they could come out today instead and they said yes. I asked to receive a confirmation which they said they would do but I never received it. When I set the appt, I asked about the cost. They told me there would be a $79 disbatch fee. I thought it was steep, but it's not worth calling around to get pricing over $15. I needed the plumbing in the kitchen disconnected so that I can have countertops installed. I asked what the fee is for this. They told me they couldn't give me a quote and the technician would do it on-site which is ridiculous since it is a simple kitchen sink disconnect. I received a call today from the guy telling me it will cost an ADDITIONAL $291 FOR THE DISCONNECT. THAT IS INSANE!!! My mom was there and she said it took the guy 15 minutes. I just received the invoice for $370 to disconnect a kitchen sink. I have used Brothers Plumbing and Batson Plumbing in the past and I recommend them both over this company. (I found my invoice from Batson in 2017 and they charge $99 for the 1st hr and $69/hr + materials after that)

Three weeks waiting for Dipple to repair a Trane split unit they installed four years ago. No heat in the house for three weeks. Now they have decided the compressor they installed as a replacement for when it first failed in 2016 has gone bad. Poor communication, poor service, poor quality products. I am disgusted a spent $11,000 for a system that is constantly breaking down. No heat for three weeks with no relief in sight.
Update: after being told by Bill the operations manager that he was pushing Trane for a complete replacement, he then tells me to call Matt the Trane rep. Matt states to me that Dipple refused to give him an opportunity to replace the unit. He stated since they dropped Dipple they closed their account and have no way to send them a unit. I share this back with Dipple and then get a call from Bill saying he refuses to service my unit from now on. In other words, we made our money off you and don't stand behind our product we sold you.

Let the buyer beware I guess but also in business, one bad review costs. Business 10 lost sales, let the next 10 customers be wary.

Over priced. Made an appointment and waited 2 hours for them and just before they were supposed to come out the called and told me it was going to be $1000 minimum and asked if I still wanted them to come out. If you want honest and upfront pricing try RR instead.

We had Dipple fix a problem with our water heater 3 years ago and 2 years ago installed a whole new HVAC system and new duct work. We have the perfect temperature in a bonus room over the garage. That's impressive work to accomplish that.

Recently, Joshua came out and fixed some electrical issues we were having. He was very nice and explained everything he was doing. I'm glad he fixed everything and now it feels safe again in my home for me and my family. Thank you so much Joshua!

We have the annual checkup plan with Dipple.

They were able to set up installation for my new hvac very quickly during hot summer weather. They sent multiple trucks and men to complete the job and all were very clean, professional, and courteous.

Communication, email, and warranty was all taken care of fast and professionally by the office. Will use again.

We sold our house and closed on it yesterday (5/30/18). Some of the items to be repaired were electrical and we had a licensed electrician come out yesterday morning to make the repairs noted by the home inspector . An electrician from Dipple Plumbing had come out on 12/1/15 to repair a fluorescent light fixture and he recommended we have a whole house surge protector installed. The home inspector found where something was wired to a 50 amp double breaker. That something was the surge protector. The wrong sized wire was connected to a 50 amp double breaker - 10 gauge and 12 gauge wire were spliced together with the 12 gauge wire connected to the surge protector. The electrician fixed it yesterday. We paid $495.00 to have a surge protector improperly installed. The 50 amp double breaker was at one time connected to an electric hot water heater that we no longer have. We will never use Dipple Plumbing for anything ever again.

Overall, I was very pleased with Dipple Plumbing. The service technicians, Adam and Nathan, were very helpful and did a good job, they were very professional. The next day I had a question about the charges, which were explained, and the issue was resolved. I'm giving them 4 stars only because there is always room for improvement.

Both our air con units went out on Friday, 7/14 (one of hottest days yet this year)...I jumped online and searched for after hours support as we have 2 young kids and just moved to S.C. from California where it's much cooler & a broken down AC wouldn't be that big of a deal.

I got a call from Craig on Friday night saying he'd come no matter how late to help us. His last call before us turned out to take a lot more time than anticipated & a major storm passed through at the same time. He constantly stayed in touch with me and let me know his status.

We finally agreed he'd come as soon as possible the next morning as he'd been working for 14+ hours and was in obvious need of some rest.

In short, Craig is a true professional who was helpful, kind and extremely knowledgeable about our problem. He was so good we decided to sign up for a service agreement with Dipple, Inc...I can't say enough good things about Craig. He even called back later in the day to make sure the house had cooled down!! You just don't get service like that anymore...to say I was impressed is an understatement.

We look forward to a long term relationship with Craig & Dipple, Inc.
