I hired Steve to do some work in my condo first about six months ago and they installed a front door for me.
They didn't OK job nothing spectacular they were a little bit messy but the door looked fine but their workmanship was nothing excellent.
In the meantime Steve had sold me a used wolf stove for $1800 he showed me pictures of the stove and I excepted it upon the photographs when I got the stove it was banged up but I excepted the stove anyway figuring I could have the stove repaired I did mention that the stove is banged up and he didn't respond whatsoever which I learned about Steve is his regular default behavior when it comes to anything that he does wrong he basically takes no responsibility whatsoever.
But I like Steve and had further plans with my condo so I decided to hire him again next was a bearing wall in my ground floor which I had his workers knocked down it was a disaster.
Steve continuously didn't show up on dates that he said he was going to show up on seemed drugged when I would call him to ask where he was just forgot what day it was was continuously rude on numerous occasions lost his temper and would scream on the phone and hang up the phone..
Behavior that was indicating that he probably has a drug problem.
The work was extremely messy there was surface sprayed all over my furniture in my refrigerator that I had to clean up I had to Holla bags of debris myself let left by the workers the workers were entering my property unscheduled scaring my teenage daughter the list goes on his workers also dumped toxic material into my neighbors garden and into the DPW water machine which I had an HO a complaint about.

All of this I brought to Steve's attention and he didn't seem to care.
He built me the full amount and within one week I waited for some sort of response regarding my complaints and I didn't get one and within one week I was waiting for a check to clear to pay him anyway and I came home early one day and he had let himself into my home and let them self into my garage where my stove was waiting for my kitchen remodel and he was loading my stove which I had bought into his van.

He was aggressive and it was extremely evident that he was high on amphetamines he was screaming and out of his mind he was swearing and flailing his arms around.
He basically trespassed install the stove.
He did this assuming that I wasn't going to pay the bill and I only had waited five days into where he had billed me and legally you have 30 days to pay a bill but considering he had really screwed up in this job you would think that he would've at least try to maybe knock something off of the bill something knowing that there was at least $30-$40,000 more worth of work here for him how do you try to make things right. Instead I had to file a police report.
His money cleared for his payment the very next day for the wall.
And he still did not return my stove..
Instead a week later he returned the money and wrote a note saying that he was returning the stove because I requested it returned because I discovered a scratch which was a lie.
He obviously had damaged it further and knew that he would have to compensate me for completely destroying the property which I had bought.
The whole thing was a complete nightmare I would never hire this person I would never recommend hiring this person he's an out right liar a criminal and a threat I had to change all the locks in my house he is dangerous and I would say has a very bad drug problem.

Our materials supplier recommended Steve Dini to do the electrical work on our condo. When I first met him I got a bad ""vibe"" but being in a bit of a time crunch, we went ahead. What a mistake.
We walked through the house and discussed all that was required and he took notes. He then provided a quote which we thought was pretty high but electricians aren't known for being inexpensive. Once he started, It seemed much of what we talked about wasn't included. We ended up paying a fortune....but that's not even the bad part.
Steve tore holes in our walls and ceiling AFTER the painter had come through such that we incurred additional costs to repair. Then things started failing. Turns out he used the wrong wire and wired things incorrectly. About half of the outlets in the house have stopped working, the dining room chandelier doesn't turn on and (this one would be funny if it wasn't so annoying) we have to turn on every light on in the bedroom before the chandelier will work. He also wired my cooktop and stove backwards (50 amp and 30 amp reversed).
We ultimately had to let him go because it was getting so ridiculous. Even though he had not completed all of the work quoted, he insisted on full payment plus an additional $75 or he would put a lien on our house.
We've incurred thousands to repair his mess. We have had several electricians look at his work and they can't believe he's licensed and much of what he did is downright dangerous. Stay clear!
