Smiley at Diamond Electric was on time, friendly, and professional. He came in first to assess the problem with our existing attic gable fan, which wasn't working. Instead of just telling us to replace the old fan or promoting the most expensive fix, he said that he would ask his suppliers for a replacement motor and if that was the problem, he would replace just the motor, which would keep the cost down. A few days later he called to let us know that he couldn't find a replacement motor and asked us what we wanted to do. It's summer and really hot in the attic, so we decided to just replace the fan. We scheduled a time, he arrived early and replaced the old fan and put in a new switch in just a few hours. While he was here, we asked him to do a quick repair on another electrical problem we were having in the house. He did the fix quickly and free of charge.

We had an outlet that blew, but the breaker didn't get tripped so we were worried. I called Diamond Electric in the morning and he talked me through the problem on the phone. That same day Smiley came out exactly when he said he would and assessed the problem then quickly replaced the outlet and fixed wiring. He also took the time to answer questions about other electrical concerns we had after the job was completed. Couldn't ask for anything better! :)

Like other reviewers, Smiley was recommended to us by the company we hired to do insulation in our attic. He came in to do a check of all our attic wiring, and while he was here, we asked him for quotes for a few other jobs at our house--installing an attic/roof fan, putting an outlet outside our house, and fixing the broken lights in our garage.

His quotes were reasonable, and he even offered to fix the lights in our garage free of charge. (That ended up being a much bigger job than any of us anticipated, and he stuck to his word and still completed it for free--parts and labor.) All of the jobs were completed in a timely and professional manner. Smiley had to come to our house 3 times in total, and each time he was prompt and gave us a courtesy text to let us know when he was on his way.

Based on our positive experiences, I would highly recommend Smiley for all your electrical needs.

Bonus: He was really nice and polite to our very curious 2-yr-old son who asked lots of questions and hovered behind Smiley much of the time he was here working. :)

I had Diamond Electric out today to install a 220 plug for a new stove. I couldn't be more pleased. Smiley, owner/electrician, was prompt, experienced, efficient, and just an all round good guy. I hired Smiley to inspect the knob and tube electrical wiring in our attic in preparation to have insulation installed. I've learned about Smiley through the recommendation of the company doing our attic insulation. All the wirings in our attic needs to be checked before the insulation can be installed. That's where Smiley came in. Smiley is very professional and has a very good busines etiquette. He's always on time and is very polite. He will give you a run through of everything he needs to do and he will explain everything to you to the best of his knowledge. Smiley finished inspecting the wirings in our attic in a very timely manner.

We were so happy with his work that we asked Smiley to come back for other electrical concers we have around the house. He fixed the exposed wires in our kitchen and he also fixed the dimmer in our dining area. All in all, he did a great job!

Smiley is also willing to work around your schedule He will never schedule an appointment if he knows that you will have to take a time off. Its really hard to find a reliable electrician these days, so we're really happy we've learned of Smiley. A very friendly, honest, trustworthy and super excellent in his chosen craft. He is now our ""go-to"" guy and we are looking forward to schedule our next project with him in the next three months or so.
