Recommended Customer Reviews

I felt comfortable allowing DiLuzio to handle my electric needs. From the front office staff to the project manager to the electrician who performed the work, DiLuzio was great to work with and the work was performed well! I would not hesitate to use then again. They did not leave me in the dark!

In my opinion, you cannot trust positive reviews if the company's lawyers threaten to sue people who post negative reviews. (See photos)
First and foremost ; we did not hire DiLuzio... Our electrical contractor said that they had subcontracted Di Luzio to complete the programming of complicated lighting system in our home.
Anecdotally, it appears that the Contractor State License Board was also told by our contractor that DiLuzio was subcontracted.
We have no way of determining if, or what kind,of contract existed.
For two days during normal business hours Greg , a technician (well complemented on this site), worked in our home.
He arrived in a DiLuzio branded van, wore a DiLuzio uniform, and identified himself as representing DiLuzio. He admitted that he was not licensed, but was working under DiLuzo's license.
Greg did what he could, given the fact that the job had been badly botched by our electrical contractor.
Both Greg and our contractor agreed that Greg would return one last time when our lights arrived from storage... He appeared competent and was a delightful person. Several other tradesmen and contractors were present while Greg was here.
We will share emails from our contractor acknowledging Greg's presence and the fact that he was expected to return.
When things fell through with our electrical contractor, I contacted the offices of DiLuzuo.
I offered, in writing, to pay Greg to come back to our home and finish what he had started. He was the only one who knew what was going on with the programming.
The receptionist was well aware that Greg had been to our home, and told me she would consult with Stephen, who was responsible for Greg's scheduling.
Later, I got a call from Mr. Anthony DiLuzio himself. Anthony DiLuzio told me that he had no ""written"" contract and would investigate.
I recapped our phone conversation in a somewhat rambling text.
Early the next morning, I wrote a professional business recap of our conversation, once again putting in writing that I was very willing to pay
DiLuzio to come back and finished their part of the job. (Documentation available upon request)
Within 48 hours I had received a threatening letter from Anthony DiLuzio's attorney. He claimed that I was demanding free electrical services, despite my written letter offering to pay.(Documentation available upon request)
He indicated that Greg might not have been in our home.
He said that Greg was working entirely on his own, and the DiLuzio was not responsible for this.
I have been assured by the Contractor's State License Board and several legal entities that the employer is in fact responsible for the actions of his representative.
He threatened to sue us if we posted any negative reviews.
I have no indication that DiLuzio isn't capable of producing fine quality electric work with a competent staff.
Nevertheless, In my opinion, one can't trust all these positive reviews if we don't know whether or not others have been threatened with lawsuits for posting negative reviews.
Here is my opinion on how this might affect you if you come in contact with DiLuzio representatives who have been contracted to your home or property:
- If your contractor subcontracts DiLuzio to do electrical work in your home, absolutely demand a copy of the contract. This can protect you if they later claim there was no contract.
- Demand ( and photograph or copy) photo identification of any DiLuzio employee entering your property.
If you were threatened with a lawsuit, you may need to prove that the person was actually there.
-Determine if the employee is licensed, and under whose license they are working .
- After the initial visit, keep a log and make the employees sign in and out of your home or property. I have learned that this is a good practice; you have a right to know who is in your home or property and when and for how long. Should there be a problem, these logs will be indispensable for you.
- Be familiar with what the ramifications would be if an employee, representing themselves from DiLuzio,a company were to be injured on your property. YOU COULD BE SUED, and unlicensed subcontractors may not be covered by your homeowner's insurance.
It is difficult to believe that DiLuzio allows his staff to do side work, for cash - without contracts, using his vehicles and uniforms.
The actions of any individual will determine his reputation , Mr. DiLuzio. I can only imagine how proud your grandfather and dad are of your business practices.
Imagine being a victimized consumer and then have to deal with the legal threats from subcontractors.
This post is meant entirely to provide consumers information that might be useful should there be a problem with their job with DiLuzio representatives or any subcontractor.

They are fantastic! The prices are reasonable and they provide outstanding service. Ricky was on time and was very friendly. He diagnosed the issue, explained what was needed to correct and completed the work in a timely matter. Needless to say, they are now our go to company and will be called for any electrical needs. I highly recommend. :)

What a pleasant surprise it was to get in touch with this company! The person who came to see us, Ricky, was skilled, pleasant, fast. He figured out every single issue we had, and seemed to be enjoying himself while he worked. You should definitely call them!

I needed an electrician to trouble shoot and fix my living room track lighting. The product (Tech Lighting) was installed over 10 years ago and has had occasional problems but now could not be turned on at all. Based on a recommendation from one of the local Tech Lighting vendors, I contacted Di Luzio using Yelp's message function and received a response the same day. We arranged for one of their employees, Ricky, to stop by first thing in the morning this week and he quickly identified the problem and repaired the system. He was very personable and efficient and answered questions clearly. He also explained why the system had become inoperable and how to do the trouble shooting myself. I would highly recommend Di Luzio for any electrical repairs.

I could not be more pleased with DiLuzio.
I've used a handful of electricians over the years, some highly rated on Yelp, some just via simple projects via Thumbtack.
I needed a half dozen light fixtures installed. Michael was incredibly communicative, coordinating in advance via text & pictures to ensure everything was ready. He made availability on a Saturday, Phillip arrived right on time and made short order of our list, installing all the fixtures in under two hours! He cleaned up after himself and helped take out the garbage.
Further, he installed Nest outdoor security cameras, something not on my original list, and even guided me as to what I need to buy and do to install 'smart' light switches myself (a project for another weekend to keep myself busy).
I'll definitely use DiLizio for all my future electrical needs!

This company is legit, friendly and professional. Personable too! They had a knowledgeable, skilled staff who were friendly, charming and funny. They responded to my Yelp quote request very quickly and made arrangements to do a very small job with exterior lighting repair at my house within a few days. I'm a renter with a private landlord, and they were very patient with the back and forth to make decisions. The job was done perfectly and we would use them again in a heartbeat.

I work for a general contractor and DiLuzio is my go-to electrical subcontractor. I regularly work with Steve, who is extremely helpful, professional and easy to work with. Arturo is regularly on my projects in the field and I have never had a problem with them. They are team players, quick and thorough. They come highly recommended by me!

This is the third time we've used Di Luzio for electrical work. We recently moved to the lower unit of our duplex and nothing had been upgraded in the unit for many years. Phillip and Ismael were here for two days replacing 2-prong plugs with grounded 3-prong plugs; replacing all light switches with quieter ones; adding new outlets for microwave, dishwasher, and two auto garage door openers; upgrading double outlets to quads; and installing new light fixtures. They did an excellent job and, as usual, left all of the work areas clean. If you want quality electrical work from professionals, Di Luzio will be your best choice.

These guys are professionals. Steve had contacted me the day of our appointment and said his installer had called out sick and asked if we could reschedule the following day. I told him my my day off was today and couldn't do it. He apologized and said he would arrange another installer, Roger, but will come little later in the day.
Roger called me 10 mins prior to arrival. I originally needed 2 ceiling light fixtures replaced and change out 5 2-prong outlets to 3-prong outlets. I ended up having him change out 4 ceiling light fixtures, 3 light switches and 6 outlets for the house. Never once did he complained about additional work; very efficient and knowledgeable. He even told me our circuit breaker was an older model and had been recalled. He advised me to have it upgraded.
Steve texted me after the job was done. I told him my experience with them was excellent. I even asked him for a estimate to do some recessed lighting and upgrading the circuit breaker. From start to finish, these guys were amazing and I will definitely hire them again for any other electrical work I need. Definitely recommended!
