We`re working on a house In Dana Point ( Monarch Beach) and are having many issues with the electrical system, our 1st electrician could not solve our issues and was there several times. After reading a ton of great yelp reviews I gave Darell a call to help us on Friday so we set up an appointment but something came up and Friday was not going to work for us. Darell (owner of Dew electric) rearranged his schedule to accommodate us on Thursday showed up 15 minutes early and in 4 hours had solved all of our complicated electrical issues. If you`re looking for a great electrician at a fair price who takes pride in his work Darell is your guy. I love to support local family owned and run businesses and Dew Electric is on of those owner / operated businesses. The best electrician out there! We have used Darell in our restaurant business and home for about 10 years. He has had numerous challenges with our old building but he gets the job done. He is good as they get. He is punctual, tidy, professional and gives reasonable bids to any project He has a personal approach and comes with up creative ways to do lighting and always checks back to see that the work was to our satisfaction. Great guy and great family man. I would highly recommend anyone that needs an electrician to give Darell a call.

I found a number of electricians on Yelp and invited them to provide quotes for the installation of a 240v/40A circuit to support an electric vehicle charger.

Darell at Dew Electric was the most responsive, provided a very reasonable estimate and was able to complete the work the very next day. Darrel was on time, professional and the workmanship was top notch.

I needed an electrician to add lights to two newly built patios. I found Darell from Yelp and gave him a call. He called me back the same day and was very nice. We set up an appointment and he was on time. He was easy to talk to, gave suggestions for lighting projects, helpful ordering all materials, knowledgeable and honest person.

He worked at my house for 2 1/2 days doing patio lights. I love, love , love all the work he has done and the lights work excellent. The switches are easy to use and we had dimmers put on too (which I didn't know you could do for outside patio lights). My backyard looks so awesome at night thanks to Darell!! We have been wanting to do something with the backyard lighting before we had new patios built. I just went with Darell's suggestions on how many lights were needed and placement. He would always check with me beforehand to make sure the setup on the lights was what I wanted before going further with final install for each area on patios.

We have other projects to do inside the house and another area in backyard. Darell will definitely be back soon to complete those projects. My handyman was also doing work at our house while Darell was there and he commented to me later what a genuine, nice guy Darell was. I have found myself a new electrician to use and have been recommending him to my friends.

Love Darrell and the work he does. He did various projects for us around our house and has been extremely helpful. He offers suggestions and has done work for us from outdoor lighting conversion to LED, more lighting outdoors and electric, fixing broken socket, etc. etc. He is very reliable and great customer service with a fair price.

I found Darrell via a Yelp search and called him up to help with adding 2 external outlets to power my landscape lighting transformers.

He was extremely easy to talk to, patient and came out quickly to give me an in-person estimate. While at my house he also noticed some old electrical work that wasn't to code and suggested we fix. I will note that he was extremely honest/helpful in recommending things that we should do vs. things that technically could be improved but that perhaps weren't worthwhile.

He got the job completed in just a few hours, the work is flawlessly neat and he also, free of charge, ran a new ground wire to an outbuilding for me.

While I'm always weary of a non-personal review he's one of the best service people who I've ever dealt with. I'll be calling him back shortly for another project and highly recommend him.
