Sitting in my bedroom I heard my fuse box start crackling like bacon and my air conditioner and refrigerator were off. Nobody could come out until six or seven hours later except Mike at dependable electric who immediately came out. He brought over Jesus and David who had to replace my 41-year-old fuse box that had our air conditioner connected directly to it. (Not Safe for the model of fuse box we had) They gave the air conditioner it's own breaker where it wasn't connected to our inside of the house fuse box. Put in several grounds for safety including a water ground which the house never had and best of all quoted us a price before the work started and did not go over the quoted price.

Well let's start with the fact that I postponed this review for a long time. I have been using these guys for just over the last two years. The first time, Mom had lights flickering in the house and the workshop and we knew it wasn't the bulb. Since her home is older, we decided to call in the specialists. We looked on the internet and called Dependable Electric. Mike said he could come out the same day. When he got there, he found the problem rather quickly to which I was grateful. He replaced an overloaded circuit and provided another to distribute the needed power evenly. He was even nice enough to label the electrical panel for her. The price was quite reasonable and I have since called them out for several other jobs. I won't call anyone else.

We had an electrical issue at 6 PM one night. Oven on, but not heating, A/C on but not cool, computer shut down and then the TV, but lights were still on. Called Dependable Electrical. He asked what was going on and we described it. He came out and told us we needed to call El Paso Electric as it was their issue and charged us $158. Then told us our breaker box was all wrong and he could fix it for $1500. When El Paso Electric showed up, they told us we had been taken. ""Any good electrician would know what was wrong and would have just told us to call EPE.""
