The fan in the fan/light/heater unit in the bathroom wasn't working. Instead of trying to fix it I decided to replace the entire unit. I contacted Dominic (he had done a previous job) and asked for a quote. He responded quickly. I checked with other companies and found I preferred dealing with Dominic. Once I gave him the go ahead to do the job he got the fixture (I had given him the size of the hole in the ceiling and he found a unit that fit perfectly without my having to patch any holes) and had it installed. He is quick to respond by text/email/phone. I will definitely call Dominic again for other electrical needs.

Dominic and his crew are pure professionals. If you want your job done correctly, call DeLuca Electric. We asked Dominic to get a lot of different things done and they did them all very professionally! When hiring for projects, I want teams that will do what they say they are going to do and will take the time to get things done right rather than just done. This is exactly how Dominic and his team work.

1) During a remodel by the previous owners, electrical was added in conduits on top of the roof. This is fine except that the roof needed to be replaced and replacing it with the rat's nest of metal conduits was going to make that very difficult. DeLuca redid all that electrical and buried it in the roof after the old one was removed. This was a VERY complicated job.

2) They installed 11 new light fixtures in two bedrooms.

3) They redid our main panel to the street, handling all the permitting and the timing with PG&E.

4) They redid the wiring from one subpanel to another, doubling the capacity and removing another unneeded subpanel in the process.

5) They added a dedicated 50A car charging breaker and installed a standard NEMA 14-50R outlet for an electric car's level 2 charger.

6) And finally, they redid the low power coax from the street to where it connects inside the house and ran two CAT6 lines from one side of the house to the other.

HUGE job done on time and for the quoted price. I'd hire DeLuca again in a heartbeat! Thank you Dominic!

Dominic and Gonzalo wired and installed both an attic fan and whole house fan in our San Mateo home. Dominic responded to our initial inquiry quickly and was over about 5 days later to have a look, give his suggestions, and answer questions. As promised, he followed up with a written quote the next day, which was at the top end of our budget, but I expected that from a highly recommended electrical contractor and qualified workers.

Only downside was the wait. With all the construction and remodeling going on here on the peninsula (and Dominic in high demand) this also didn't surprise us. Luckily this summer hasn't been as hot as last year and we got the fans installed just in time for the last temp spike.

We received a follow up approx. 10 days out to get the install day scheduled. Dominic and Gonzalo arrived on time, got the job done as outlined and left the house as clean as when they arrived. I had a few follow up questions I emailed which he answered within 24 hrs.

Thanks Dominic. I definitely will use Deluca Electric for my future needs.

Oh yeah -- when Dominic was looking at my breaker panel in the back of the house he took one look at the main power line coming from the pole, which drooped down quite a bit into my backyard and told me to call PG&E and have them tighten it, which I did and PG&E fixed the same day. I didnt think it was really a safety issue, but their lineman agreed with Dominic -- it was too loose.

My experience with DeLuca Electric was a 10 out of 10. I was impressed that Dominic communicated quickly and professionally, so I was aware of his rates and MO before his technician arrived. Rene arrived early, installed 2 wall sconces and a dimmer with a minimum of holes and mess, exactly where I wanted them, in a short amount of time, and was very pleasant to work with. Couldn't ask for more. I would highly recommend DeLuca Electric.

I was in a hurry to get some work done during the Holiday's and Dominic was able to get someone out which was great. On a Tesla charger install, I was charged a fixed rate of $1260 and it took only 3 hours so that went fast. His guy was very nice and also replaced a lot of light switches and solved some problems. I could have probably got a better price if I investigated it further and used time and materials instead of a flat rate but it's the Holidays.

Highly recommend DeLuca Electric. We just completed a major electrical lighting job which was completed by DeLuca Electric last week. Dominic, the owner, is very professional, communicative, responsive and pleasant to work with. We initially took bids from four different electrical services companies, all were in the same median price range with one substantial outlier we immediately disqualified however a few things differentiated DeLuca Electric.

Dominic was easy to work with in terms of scheduling a visit to our home to review the scope of the project, he clearly understood our objectives, he provided a proposal in a timely manner and lastly he was able to schedule us in a timely manner with a realistic timeline for the completion of the project. We had LED lights installed in 3 rooms which previously did not have any recessed lighting, we had Smart Dimmer switches installed throughout the house, 3 interior room lights replaced with LED ceiling lights, 2 8ft flourescent lights in our garage replaced with 2 4ft LED lights, 8 exterior LED lights replaced and 13 recessed fluorescent lights replaced with new LEDs. Dominic and his team arrived in a timely manner daily and complete the work on time each day. They were very thorough and made sure to place covering over the entire work areas and remove them at the end of the day, which was crucial since we were living in our home during the project. Dominic's team was very professional and responsive to any requests we had and adjustments that were made to the initial project plan.

I have used several different electricians in the past which I found on Yelp and have been highly cautious of contractor reviews following some very negative experiences with electricians specifically. I've had many visit our home the past year and that did not have the professionalism to followup on visits, did not follow through on proposals and in certain cases did sub-standard work.

That said in this case I'm very glad we found and were able to work with Dominic and his team and will DEFINITELY use them again for electrical work. I would highly recommend DeLuca Electric to anyone looking for a company that provides a high standard in Electrical Services.

There should be new joke of how many electrical contractors do you have to call to get a LED light installed!

I called around to some of the highly rated Electrical Contractors on Yelp with some disappointing results.

I called and left messages with Alex of Eminent Electrical and after a few voicemails he finally called back. Alex said he was too busy and could not meet my schedule a week before I needed him to replace a light fixture.

Then I contacted O'Connor & Son's Electric who after a lengthy dialog quit responding to my texts!

So I called and got in touch with Dominic Deluca from DeLuca Electric.

He came to my rescue as I needed the light fixture changed out before a remodel of the room and I had contractors depending on the light fixture being changed out.

Dominic set my fears aside and kept to his word on which day I would get service. He sent Gonzalo who showed up early which was fine with me.

Gonzalo brought in his tools and put down a large work mat and in twenty minutes had the new LED light installed and working.

I really appreciated Dominic for accommodating my schedule and sending Gonzalo to get my project done before the other contractors came to remodel the room.

Parts and labor were less than what O'Connor & Son's electric would have charged just to show up!

DeLuca Electric is the way to go!
