Total first time homeowner wusses here -- I know nothing. The guys at Home Depot roll their eyes when I go in there asking questions about wrenches and weed killer and lightbulb designations like ""white light vs. daylight light"". The world comes to an end for us when the toilet doesn't flush.

A childhood of dorm life and apartment living does not breed a HGTV-ready skill set.

These guys were fair, reasonable, reliable, on-time, did the jobs.

I've used them a bunch of times for stuff inside my unit. They have consistently been punctual, professional and got the job done right the first time. They have been serving the Santa Monica area for years and have an ""Old School"" business ethic offering great service at reasonable rates.

I suggested them for an issue in my Condo Association when there was a problem getting the regular company out. Del Rey made such an impression on the HOA president that we now use them exclusively for all of our HOA work.

Consider yourself lucky to have a trustworthy company like this in your address book!

I've been using Del Rey Electric since I bought my place in 2007. They have done a variety of jobs for me over the years - checking circuits, switching out light fixtures, repairing switches. Always quality work done professionally, timely and for a reasonable price.

(Please note that this review relates to this company - I guess there's another Del Rey Electric in the same area; only figured out they weren't the same company I have been using for almost 10 years when I asked them to reference a past job and it came to light. Definitely confusing so figured I'd mention it!)

THEY ARE THE BEST! I was in need of immediate electrical work for my business, I called in the morning and they worked things out for me so quickly. The lady who answered the phone, I believe her name was Sonny were so sweet and she followed up with me so quickly and the guy who came in to fix the problem found the cause of it and repaired it so fast! I will definitely call them again for my electrical work!

These are good people. Mel and Sunny and their crew -- they care about doing good quality work and also being good, fair humans. They installed some new light fixtures in my kitchen and dining area, and they were so careful. I've had other guys come in and make a mess and not handle with care. I recommend them highly.

Had 2 free estimates for companies i found on line and one guy (United Electric) wanted $450 to troubleshoot and possibly fix plus materials.

DEL REY DID THE WHOLE JOB FOR $150. THEY ROCK.

Can't say enough about them. I trusted the reviews i read on YELP and they work. People don't lie and DEL REY is a true reliable service company where you won't get ripped off and they tell it to you straight.

Professional, efficient, and friendly. The guys showed up 5 minutes early, worked quickly, and made sure I knew how to work the light timers they installed. They even offered to change 3 lightbulbs for me that were burned out on one of the timers they replaced. Great service!
