In high school, I gained hands-on experience in shop class, where we built houses that were later sold by the school. I then joined my uncle in renovating homes, where we gutted and remodeled entire properties. While serving as a firefighter, I continued to hone my skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. I began my journey in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work during high school, later working with my uncle on full home renovations. Building and remodeling has been a lifelong passion of mine. It was my wife’s idea to open a tanning salon that gave me the opportunity to demonstrate my skills in Iuka. I received a request to restore the historic feed mill in Iuka to its original condition. I met many people who inquired about my work during this time. After hearing stories of dissatisfaction with other contractors, we felt compelled to start our own carpentry and plumbing business. We’re not in this for wealth; we aim to provide what our clients request and ensure the job is completed properly. Our focus is on helping people and rectifying the wrongs of past experiences. We truly believe that our skills are a blessing from God, and we appreciate all the encouragement we’ve received. A big thank you to everyone who has stood by us! I served as a Captain in the Fire Department before retiring, while my wife is a registered nurse working towards her Doctorate. Originally from Texas, we moved to Mississippi. Having been raised in Mississippi, my wife’s family remains in the area. Iuka captured our hearts with its charm and the variety of nearby amenities.
