I then joined my uncle in renovating houses, where we gutted and remodeled properties. While serving as a firefighter, I continued to hone my skills in carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work. My introduction to carpentry, plumbing, and electrical work started in high school, followed by hands-on experience gutting and remodeling homes with my uncle. I have always had a deep passion for construction and renovation. When my wife decided to open a tanning salon, I showcased my skills in Iuka. I was later asked to restore the old feed mill in Iuka to its former glory. I encountered numerous individuals interested in my craftsmanship during this period. They had faced issues with various construction companies and local handymen, prompting us to start our own carpentry and plumbing business. Our goal isn’t to get rich but to ensure people receive what they ask for and that the job is done right. We are dedicated to helping others and correcting the mistakes of those before us. I bring my experience as a retired Captain in the Fire Department, while my wife is an RN currently pursuing her Doctorate in nursing. We moved from Texas to Mississippi, where my wife was born and raised, and her family remains. We fell in love with Iuka for its quaintness and the numerous amenities in the area.
