i on the other hand think they are a great company that has done a large amount of work for me over the 20 yrs I have done business with them. I am calling them again today to have more work done. I do belief it's important that the company know what's happens. There is always room for improvement no matter how large or small a business becomes.

It's always amazing to me the things that can get on Yelp. For something that many people use as a first point of contact for reviews of a company, they sure let some idiots make stupid remarks. Now Decker, a quality company, has a poor overall review because a couple morons think they got cut off by a truck. This is supposed to be a legitimate review of their business operations, which in my experience has been top notch. Not because one time you feel like you were cut off on the streets of San Francisco. If that were the case, Uber and Lyft would have negative 30 stars.

These guys obviously don't understand what Decker even does I'm sure- But know that if you're looking at reviews to find out how Decker does business, then yes, they do a fine job. Don't listen to these yahoos.

Decker Electric is a great electrical contractor in San Francisco. They are big enough to be able to handle any project yet still small enough to care about every customer they deal with. In my dealings with them they have been great people to work with so if your looking a quality contractor with a quality office staff to back them up. Hire Decker Electric.

Also they are probably one of the fastest growing contractors in the city(San Francisco) because of the reputation of quality work they put out.

I stopped by their office last week and asked to speak with the owner. I had an electrical project I needed a hand with and I always like to meet the owner of any small business I hire.

The receptionist was incredibly rude to me. Just her stare alone is reason for the one star. She refused to tell me who the owner was, or give me his card. She instead told me ""he is very busy and I don't think he wants to talk to you""

I'm 25 so maybe she just does not like young people? I'm not sure but I would highly suggest staying far away from this company. They do not value customers one bit.

Decker Electric is one of the best smaller electrical contractor firms in the Bay Area. They offer creative project management, good work ethic, and very professional and well educated field superintendents.

The resulting experience for the Owner is a smooth and understandable process, and excellent finished work results.

I personally have worked with Decker numerous times over the past 7 years, both as the Engineer under the Owner's contract on the design team, and contracted under them as a consulting engineer in a design-build capacity. I feel that this is a well-rounded and relatively objective opinion.

I would not hesitate to recommend you call Paul Fisher, Dan Boas, Paul Nielsen, Jeff Easterby, Eric Petersen, and the other sharp guys over there for all of your commercial electrical needs.
