Made an appointment for a Monday and he never showed up. He apologized and showed up on the next appointment. Appointment was for 9 AM. He sat in his car for 25 minutes on the phone and then came in. Not a big deal but never apologized. Looked into the work and we made an appointment for the job. Again didn't show up. He apologized again and finally showed up with the wrong lights. We agreed to install it anyway on a couple of them. He then said he has to go to another call and left. I realized I had lights that would work and called him. He said he already left and will call me back. He never did. Never came back nor contacted me. And one of the lights he mounted fell down a couple of weeks later. How this guy is in business is a complete surprise to me.

I received an immediate response that instantly eased my mind after my son stuck a paper clip in outlet. Very courteous and didn't try to sell me an unnecessarily repair. Highly recommend.

Dean's was one of 3 electrical services I contacted this past week, as we needed some exterior security lights and interior shop lights upgraded to LED-type light fixtures. They were able to do the job the next day!! Not only did they arrive 5 minutes ahead of the scheduled time, they completed the job in just over an hour...4 exterior fixtures and 4 interior fixtures!!
Their hourly rate was very reasonable, and, unlike many services, did not charge the full additional hour just because we went a few minutes into it. Reasonable, speedy, friendly and competent! Definitely going to be using Dean's again...and very soon!!

We're giving Dean 4 stars for helping us out w/quick phone call last night.
We arrived hm from trip finding our TV's we're not working. Dean quickly solved problem over phone & we're good to go.

So, we will use Dean's Electric in the future when we need an electrician ;)

ABSOLUTELY THE BEST!!! James Dean literally saved us. He is a Light Saver! A little electrical humor, sorry.

My husband and I are opening a Yoga studio in San Luis Obispo, and our contractor left us in a bind, James and Glenn came in and put everything together last minute, they even figured out certain things that weren't even hooked/wired up and got that done, added speakers for music and literally made the lights come on. Seriously, we had no lights prior and we were opening in a few days. I am so so grateful. James response quickly, he is professional, kind, and very knowledgeable. We are ever so grateful for Dean's Electrical Services and will ALWAYS use them for all our electrical needs. I highly recommend.

I didn't realize it until Dean and Glen informed me that they knew our house. Apparently, my husband called Dean's in 2015 to check why no power was getting to our main garage and Dean found the problem right away. My husband mentioned how impressed he was with Dean.

Today, I had two fans and a washing machine that suddenly weren't working. Although we checked the fuse box several times before looking for an electrician, Dean and Glenn found the problem right away. Seems like they are really good at finding problems right away. Did I mention they are professional, courteous and knowledgeable? Well, they are.

In another unit, I had them change out burned electrical sockets and replace a light fixture with a ceiling fan. From watching, they definitely know what they are doing. It was a pleasure to have them around. More work planned soon, I can't wait to have them come out again. BTW, their rate is very reasonable, You will like them once you meet them.

I was in a jam after trying to do some wiring myself outside in the backyard. Not being an electrician (as my wife pointed out) my handiwork resulted in blowing the GFI and associated breakers, disabling our tankless hot water heater. It was around 7:00PM and I was in trouble.

I called James Dean, a random pick from Yelp. He answered immediately and was at my home 10 minutes later. Two minutes after that he found my mistake (and was very gentle about it) and had our power back. He came back the next morning right on the dot as promised. He and his associate professionally rewired my whole project way better than I could have ever done. His bill was very, very reasonable.

Lesson learned: (1) listen to the wife and don't do stuff you are not good at; (2) when you need an electrician, Dean's Electrical Services is a very good choice.

He did a good job and for a great price. BUT, I told him I had a home warranty and would need a receipt so I could submit for reimbursement. When he was done he didn't have any invoice forms. So he said he would e-mail me my invoice and I paid him. It's been almost 6 weeks now and no receipt. My phone calls to him go unanswered and the voice mail messages I left for him are not responded to. A good job alone is not enough. If someone is not true to their word I can't recommend them.

He was at my place before expected. Always keeping me informed on what he was doing & part(s) we may need. Turns out it was a quick fix. I would highly recommend him for any electrical needs.
