My older kitchen fluorescent bulbs inside the ceiling fixtures began to blink and flicker so I knew it was time to change them. D & D Electric Services suggested LEDs as they were safer, used less electricity, lasted longer, etc. Today, they were installed and I am very pleased. The gentleman who came from D & D to do it was very professional and smart - I appreciate that. He also installed my new LED driveway entry lights and got them to work on our turn-it-on-at-dark system. D & D is now my ""go-to"" electrician!

This is the best electrical service company in Los Angeles. They are the only people that I trust to tell me exactly what's going on and fix it with lightning speed. They are extremely knowledgeable and so friendly and warm. I trust them 100% and recommend them to everyone and anyone. They changed my switches to smart switches and changed out a very dangerous heater in a small bathroom to a beautiful chandelier. As A female in Los Angeles I have been taken advantage of by a lot of companies. D&D went out of their way to make me feel comfortable and explain everything to me. I utilize a home warranty company. D&D electrical put in the report the electrical panel needed replacing due to overload. The technician Doron told me verbally it was old and needed to be replaced. Overload is not covered by the warranty company, wear and tear is. The technician stated he has never seen the warranty company cover the cost of installing a new electrical panel. He said it didn't matter to him if I paid for the service or the warranty company. Well it mattered to me.

He had no reasonable response when asked why he diagnosed the issue as an overload instead of wear and tear as discussed.

Thankfully, another electric company stated the correct diagnosis of wear and tear and the panel was replaced by home warranty company.

I question whose best interest D&D electric company has, the home warranty company or the customers. I wish he would've just stated the facts.

Doron was amazing. Not only did he quickly fix an issue I was told by another electrician would require days of work, but he gave me advice that saved me thousands of dollars instead of racking up a bill with him. His honesty was so appreciated and I can tell the company culture focuses on fair, good quality customer service and care. I worked with two other electrical companies before working with D&D and I can confidentally say they were the most competent, knowledgeable, and honest company I have worked with. They will now be my new go to for any and all electrical needs!

We had been referred to Doron by AHS for our electric problem. Thank God for that. Doron came and diagnosed the problem and helped us to resolve the problem right away. TL;DR: I'm so impressed by the work that Doron and his team of 2 did, and look forward to working with them again!

I'm a first-time homebuyer, and D&D was the first contractor I hired. So I was somewhat nervous about the entire process.

I needed to get 4 outlets installed near 4 different toilets, for electric bidet installation.

Doron arrived on a Monday to survey the site (no awkwardness around asking him to wear booties and a mask). He quoted me a flat price inclusive of labor and materials. That night, he asked how soon I wanted to get the project done. When I said ""ASAP"", he offered the following day, as there was a schedule opening. His team arrived in the morning, and by mid-afternoon, my project was complete.

They found a way to install all 4 outlets with minimal wall openings, and the one wall they opened, they taped the piece against the wall so that it would be easier and cheaper for whoever would do the repair / patching.

Extremely satisfied with the service from D&D. They were sent to us for a broken air conditioner through our home warranty company - prior to this we had wasted months with other technicians who did not fix the problem.

D&D was assigned the contract by our home warranty at 5pm Tues and by 9:30am Wed they called to set an appointment up for the following day. Most other companies contracted with home warranty are not this efficient (a previous contractor assigned to this job took 3.5 weeks to give us a call).

Doron arrived on time, was extremely professional, knowledgeable, straightforward and warm, and was able to fix the electrical problem so that our air conditioner finally started working again. This is after three previous companies could not fix the problem. Thank you Doron!!

If your warranty company is American Home Shield and they give you an option to choose an electrical company, I definitely recommend that you choose D&D. (And choose D&D on your own, too!)
