I had DCS Electric do a simple rewiring job at my house which took the electrician 1.5 hours with material costs that could not have have exceeded $50. But for this job I was charged $450. The prevailing electrician rate in Palm Beach County is $100 an hour so I was overcharged by $250. I gave DCS the opportunity to adjust the charge but they refused to do so. I will not be using this company again.

Had them convert my overhead electric service line to buried, walked me through the process and took care of permitting/inspection requirements with no issues or delays. Excellent service, very knowledgeable and always responsive.

The owner way overcharged on parts and supplies, but the technician they sent out was thorough and knowledgeable. All in all the work was good. I would strongly recommend getting a quote before dealing with this company as it would have saved us an extremely high bill!!!

Doug and his team at DCS are one of the best residential contractors I have ever had the pleasure of working with! My wife and I bought a foreclosure in terrible shape in West Palm and it had many electrical issues. Doug came and walked us through everything that needed to be done, even costing himself some work as he recommended against some of the smaller repairs. He thought they were good for now and didn't need attention.

He was on-time every time and completed the work in excellent fashion. He was courteous and very knowledgeable. My wife and I will be using DCS Electric whenever we need electrical work in the future. Well done Doug and team! We are very satisfied customers!
