Dan is a great electrician. He came to my client's house and quickly found what the problems were and corrected them in an efficient, competent, and capable manner. He explained terms that I could understand what needed to be done and how he was going to accomplish the task at hand. He went out of his way to go get parts that he did not have with him and did not charge me for the time that he was going to the hardware store. I am a real estate agent and other vendors have charged to go get parts that they did not have on their truck. Dan was courteous, polite and friendly. A true professional. I was very pleased with his service. And would recommend him to any of my other clients needing electrical service. He was also prompt and arrived when he said he would come and he called me ahead of time to let me know when he would be there. Just can't say enough good things about Dan's service. And no he did not pay me to say these nice things. LOL

I really, really dislike having service people in my home, due to numerous issues I've experienced during remodels and other projects. But when it came down to either hiring someone, or letting my husband do it himself, I had to bite the bullet. Electricity is just too dangerous, and the husband definitely doesn't have enough life insurance to take the risk. ;) DC Electric was recommended by neighbors on the Next Door site - and I can see why! These guys are great! They show up on time, are respectful, do good work, clean up after themselves, and have reasonable prices ~ so glad to have found this company. We were so pleased with their work that we asked them to come back for other projects. Thanks, guys, and keep up the good work!

My husband and I have had Dan come out a couple of times now for different jobs. We're highly impressed with his skill, innovative ideas (no one else thought of dropping the 3 bathroom ventilator fan/light combos through from the attic, rather than cutting a huge hole in the ceiling, great idea!). Dan is always punctual, polite, professional and cleans up and removes all debris; also his pricing is very competitive. We are very happy to highly recommend him.

Dan is extremely responsive via phone/text/email...unfortunately that seems to be less and less common in my experience. He came out the same day on two separate occasions, offered very reasonable estimates, and had good ideas on how to deal with the issues we were having. After completing a quick job today, Dan and Cody cleaned everything up thoroughly, and were just generally pleasant to have around. Before finding DC Electric's info, we bounced around Yelp and other sources any time we needed work done. The job did always get done, but the service from others always left a little something to be desired. I'll be glad to save Dan's contact info and have it on hand for future home/business electrical needs...finding reliable and trustworthy contractors is always a relief!

I recently had the power go out in my garage and the surrounding rooms. With my car trapped in the garage I jumped on Yelp to find an electrician I called DC Electric since they had so many 5 star reviews. Daniel answer the phone he was very nice and able to come out quickly it's a good thing he did. With my old 50s wiring plus previous owners DIY it was a major fire hazard. Daniel was able to to bring it up to code quickly for a great price. Everyone at DC Electric was very friendly highly recommend them!

Great experience with Dan at D.C. Electric. I wanted to replace the CFL lights in my kitchen with LEDs.
He was able to come to my house within the hour that I made the call. He gave me a reasonable quote. We were able to schedule for the following Monday and the work to less time than expected. He showed up exactly on time and came prepared with all the parts needed so no running out to get more stuff. Dan was very pleasant and knows stuff! High recommend.

We had an electrical emergency when we had sparks flying and a loud pop from our breaker panel. We had just attempted to replace an outlet. We lost all house power. Dan, with DC electric was able to fit us in right away. He assessed the problem, made repair quickly and efficiently. Pricing was very reasonable and Dan was friendly and informative.
