At Day-Lite Maintenance, a family-owned company, electricity is our lifeblood. The Walworth family began their journey in the electrical field with a generator plant in Pawpaw, Illinois.

During the 1930s, they moved to Santa Ana, California. The son, Richard Ray Walworth, affectionately called ""Dick,"" saw a chance to offer lighting services to an expanding commercial property market.

In 1961, he launched Day-Lite, and with a growing fleet, he started using his parents' orange grove for parking service vehicles. As they cared for the grove, Zelma and Ray Edward Walworth would find out about his new truck.
