The essence of Day-Lite Maintenance, a family-operated firm, is rooted in electricity. The Walworth family began their journey in the electrical field with a generator plant in Pawpaw, Illinois.
In the 1930s, the family relocated to Santa Ana, California. Richard Ray Walworth, known as ""Dick,"" recognized the chance to supply lighting to a booming commercial real estate sector.
He established Day-Lite in 1961, and as his business grew, he parked service trucks in his parents' orange grove. While maintaining the grove, Zelma and Ray Edward Walworth would stumble upon his new truck.
