I live in Los Angeles. I was looking to coordinate an installation of a RING video door bell in Chula Vista, San Diego at my mothers house. I called Dawson Electric, and asked many questions over the phone, and explained my situation - that I was planning on driving to San Diego to be present with my mother who is a senior citizen while during the installation. Dawson Electric showed up on time and executed a perfect installation of the video doorbell I purchased for my mother's home. The price was competitive and fair. The only reason I can't give the top rating was, I had to postpone the job before it started.
A personal medical emergency required an unscheduled surgery.
Prior to that, Rick did the work estimate online and finally on-site.
We agreed to an estimated cost and length of work.
Rick was very professional and prompt in his response.
Even as I explained the job postponement until after my surgery and recovery, he was very understanding.
Dawson Electric certainly earned my trust and patronage in all my future electrical needs.

Showed up for me on a Sunday when most were closed. Lights were out in half me house. I called up Dawson Electric answered in the morning and I gave a run down of my problem. This by far the worst company ever one , they wayyyyyyy over charge and second the part they replaced is used like a kid can tell it's used and customer service is bad. like I'm active duty navy I don't have time to baby sit and also over charge me just by changing one simple panel I highly recommend to go some else and save your money

Rick was first to respond when I requested a quote to multiple companies, provide an initial quote and stopped by shortly after. He demonstrated his trade meticulously ensuring the cause of the busted outlet was identified. You see, this outlet was replaced twice in two years with the previous electrician saying it was the outlet itself being the culprit. Come to find out, After Rick checked the entire line that an outdoor tree light was causing the short blowing the outlet. I'm grateful he took the time to check it all.
