A complete rip off....ladies be careful with this one....acted like he replaced wires in my breaker box but never turned the lights off in the home....gave 1 price during scheduling then more than doubled it to complete work.

I wish I had read the reviews before using them! They were referred through Home Depot's services and we thought that meant they were great. Wrong. They lied about their pricing and tried to make excuses about the fan ""complexity"" and size, despite being charged the top amount for the smallest fan with no complexity whatsoever. We asked if then the bigger fan we were originally going to also hang would then be the same price and he was like ""well, it depends on the complexity."" Even though we were told it would only be between a certain price range. Then they preceded to argue with us while we tried to understand this sudden change and they made it seem like we were crazy to ever think otherwise. They kept mentioning reasons why the price went up, then would back track on those reasons when we questioned it. I would NEVER recommend them and we will NEVER use them again. What a scam. The gentleman who installed the fan was amazing and incredibly nice and we would hire him alone if we could. DON'T TRUST ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU!

Dawson Electric was the first company to respond to my inquiry to get three ceiling fans installed. LV did a fantastic job. All three fans are working wonderfully and best of all, they are not making any weird noises like the last fans I had did. 100% recommend this company due to their rapid response, quality work, and first class customer service.

Not up front about pricing. They said they would put the service fee toward the repair. Then once they did the repair they said they never said that. My husband and I both heard them say it and my husband asked them again just to be clear.
They adamantly denied saying it. They were so incredibly rude.
We never give bad reviews. We just move on usually but this company was so awful. Do not lie to people and then yell at customers loud enough that their kids hear it from another room.
The guy we dealt with said his name was Rick George. He would not give us the name of anyone above him that we could speak to.
The guy who actually did the work was great though. He worked fast and was very polite.
Do NOT trust this company.

Dawson Electric came through big for me on Saturday. The power went out in my client's home Friday night. I called around and no one was available. I got ahold of Dawson Saturday. They immediately sent someone out. The quickly diagnoses the problem; old burnt wires. They replaced the wires and got the power restored promptly. Both my client and I were stoked. I'm using Dawson now for other client's electrical needs.

I had a chandelier and LED switch installed in my home in California. They were extremely personable and professional. The best part about them is that they were super reliable. Instead of giving me a window of hours that they may come by they gave me a specific time and were there on the dot. I will use them again for other installs that I have planned in the future!

I wanted Rick from Dawson Electric to run an in ground spa light cable from the spa to the electrical panel. He said he could do it in about 1-2 hours. He showed up on the job late. He said he could do the work and assumed he new what he was doing. He pulled the cable in without using the electricians lube on the wires. The wire would come all the way out by the electrical panel. He then said before he would be back in the morning to finish the job. It would only take an hour he said. He asked for payment that day before he left. I knew right then and there something was wrong. I paid him and then in the morning he called me to say he had to pick up a product to finish the job and would charge me another 4 hours as a flat fee. He tried to change the pay structure from what we agreed upon. He was trying to charge me for him having to go to the store and buy what any good electrician should already have, electricians lube. So he was going to charge me all over again because he didn't do the job correctly in the first place. Rick is nothing but a crook. Don't use him unless you want to be charged more money. I called a good electrian and he did the job in less then one hour. Rick took four hours and was going to charge me 4 more for the next day.
