I purchased an older home where Peter was the electrician hired by seller to complete work we had requested. When we closed we needed an electrician to install can lights as the home didn't have any. We called Peter to add can lights in living / family/ hallway and nook. He also added junction boxes in each bedroom and replaced our subpanel. We were so amazed by his attention to detail. He was such a delight. He was very reasonably priced and so honest. Highly recommend him!! You won't be disappointed.

Peter is the best!!! He did a circuit breaker box and wired the pump and heater for a jacuzzi tub. He also re-wired my son's old house for grounded plugs and put in a whisper bathroom fan. He's honest, fair, hardworking and just the best! I wish him all the success in the world because he's such a great electrician but hate to share him with the world because I'm afraid he will be so busy I will never be able to book him again! I called several electricians to get someone to install outdoor lighting for my backyard because I I had no lights. Most of the electrical companies never even returned my phone call. A carpenter recommended Peter Dawson and I called and left him a voicemail and he was the only electrician that called back on the same day.

Peter works for himself and runs a mobile service and serves Contra Costa and Solano county. He does not run quotes but charges by the hour. He is fairly priced. I sent photos to Peter beforehand of what I wanted. He came to my home and shortly after discussing the job he started work. He was very good to work with, he is polite, respectful and does his work with care and thought rather than doing it sloppy and as quick as possible.

I plan to use him again when he is available to install birdcages with lights to my tree. If you have any electrical work or an outdoor lighting project that takes a bit of imagination... Peter is your guy! He also shows up when he says he will and worked the whole time he was at my home. Thank you for my patio lighting, chicken coop outlet and fountain hook up! My backyard has come to life!
