I've used them in the past with no problem, because they're near my house. This time I called then up for a minor job, an appliance install. The receptionist told me they were scheduling into next month because they were really backed up. I told her that was fine, go ahead and schedule me. That seemed to irritate her (I heard an audible sigh). She then told me she didn't know that they could install the appliance, that she would have to check with her estimators. I said ok, please check with them and let me know. That seemed to irritate her more. She then said she was pretty sure they wouldn't install it. There was no subtlety in any of this. She flat out just didn't want to do her job, didn't want to be bothered with going through the trouble of scheduling the appointment, since the whole job was probably only going to be a couple hundred dollars.


Message received, you don't want my money. So much for sourcing local neighborhood businesses.

Called the company and had a nice conversation. They asked me to email the details of the project. Email was sent within 20 minutes. No response for 6 days. I called back and the lady who answered emphatically stated that the company does NOT provide estimates. (who doesn't provide an estimate?) She also stated that the rate is $120 per plus materials (so I'm just supposed to hire the company at 120/hr + materials and not know how much its going to cost me??).

Probably better off finding another company.....I know that I am.
