David was brought in by La Casa Bella for some follow on work beyond the kitchen remodel we had in progress. He charged $500 to strip the wall paper from our entryway and a small section on one wall in our living room and $750 to mud to a ruff texture in the entryway and a smooth finish on the living room wall. The first time thru he and his team left bits of paper in the mud in the entryway and blobs of mud in places on the wall. The living room wall was anything but smooth which became blatantly obvious when the wall was painted. La Casa Bella arranged for Dave and his crew to come back to fix the issues. Dave told me they would do a tight coat the first day and sand the wall for painting the second day. When they were done the first day they left without a word and the wall was worst than the first time. Long lines of mud, pits and generally uneven. Maybe he misunderstood when I told him this was not on a tight time line and he could take his time to get it right. Don't know where he got his team but they are not drywall finishers. Told him not to come back. He had already been paid so it was no big deal to him.

Great job and fairly priced. I had a few company's come out and David was definitely the best. Him and his team were on time and went above and beyond what I asked. I had them come out to fix my drywall and they did a great job. His team was friendly and even helped me with a couple details around the house. Recently had some work done at the house by Dave and his guys....complete the drywall in the garage as well as a patch inside the house.
Also had the old electrical outlets & switches swapped out in the house.
I have nothing but good to say about Dave & his company.... so awesome to find someone who does exactly what he said he would do, completed on time, and everything looks great!
Trustworthy, honest, and great work ethic...will definitely have him back for future projects.

David is very professional! If he says he is going to be there, he is. If he says he is going to so something, he does! He is a great guy with a solid team that do great work for a reasonable price. He replaced my outdated florescent kitchen lighting, dropping the ceiling (to make it flush) and added can lights. He also removed bathroom boxed florescent lights with new electrical lighting over sinks. He was so good we called him back for putting nobs and pulls on our kitchen cabinets and some drywall repair. My realtor was very impressed with his work! He is busy. I had to wait 6 weeks for my initial work, but this type of quality work is well worth the wait!!!

David and his crew came to install a vanity in my master bathroom. The minute they walked in the house they laid out tarps on my floors to protect them where they would be walking and working. I've NEVER had any one do that before! They got the vanity installed but there was a minor glitch - the faucet was missing the drain. David said he'd come back and pop it in when I got the part from the manufacturer.

Unfortunately there was one other issue I didn't find out about until later that evening. It appears my two cats had been utilizing the access panel in the master bathroom (to get to the front bathroom tub plumbing) as their super secret clubhouse! And it appeared they were having a club meeting prior to David installing the vanity and were now sealed up in my wall! In a panic, I called David and left him a message. He called back in about 5 minutes (after I'd already punched a hole in the drywall to see if they could get out - it didn't work) and said they were on their way! So at 8:30 at night David and Lorenzo showed up with a saw to cut out some drywall so the cats could get out! It took another two hours to get the girls to finally come out (when it was dark and quiet in the house). So David is coming back to install the drain and fix the drywall where they cut it out and where I punched a hole! All I can say is David did a great job and is a cat champion!

David Songer Company is a company that is very conscientious of doing excellent and satisfying work. On everything David worked on, from as big as a very deep and extensive back splash to putting a vanity/mirror/and adjusting a master bathroom and many jobs in between, his diligence to detail was tremendous. He even came back to re-grout the backsplash and again a third time to reseal it. Finding a valuable company and handy man service was key for my wife and I. Along with the for-mentioned jobs, David Songer Company did, a TV wall mounting, a sound bar adjustment, hung and replaced bedroom closet doors, hung several blinds, and cleaned and adjusted a washer and hot water heater. The David Songer Company was extremely meticulous in providing excellent work.

Had an issue with our over the range microwave installation and David came to the rescue. Instead of cutting the slab of granite that goes up the wall like we thought we had to do, David gave us an alternative (and much cheaper!) solution. He was in an out in a few hours on the same day we called him. He even repaired the vent in the cabinet above our microwave, which wasn't part of the deal.

David is amazing!!! Don't let anyone tell you that a contractor can't fix and texture your walls without it looking like a patch job. He fixed our kitchen backsplash so nicely that we had him do our master bathroom. (We tore out a tub and are adding a free standing one). No one would ever know there were huge chunks of drywall missing. The texture job is spot on, matches the rest of the wall perfect.

I really did not want to share my comments in fear he will get to busy if I need him again, but I guess I will have to take my chances. I have always hired my own contractors to do work on my rentals and I know how they work. I have found one of a kind. He is on time, Cleans up after himself each day, dedicates himself to the property and does not jump between others. He always thinks of a solution if you need something done that no one can figure out what to do. He saved me $700 on rewiring and moving a front porch light. He saved me $144 on moving a dryer to another wall. One other thing, he is fair on his pricing, remember you get what you pay for. This man is a gem. Thank you Dave for everything you did for me and my rental. I really appreciate you and how caring you are to get the job done.
