I used to swear by this company and used them exclusively. Their pricing schemes have changed to the point that I will never use their services again. $50 merely to come out. $100 to cut into a wall leaving the additional repair work for the customer to handle?! THEN they'll charge for labor and parts on top of that! Thanks, but I'm looking elsewhere.

We had an appointment on Thursday between 1 PM and 5 PM and no one showed up. I called the office at 5:30 to find out why the technician did not show up they told me they would have to get back to me. I waited for a phone call and didn't hear back. They called me the next day and told me that I never made an appointment and neither did my landlord. That was a lie. So she told me they could send somebody out on Saturday And I requested for them to come on Saturday morning because I had plans and I've already had to cancel other plans. So she put in the computer to please make sure that we are requested to come in the morning which did not happen. It is now 4:30 in the afternoon and still no show. This is not the way to do business or treat your customers. They texted me at 2:20 PM and said that a technician was on the way it is now 430 and no technician. I do not live two hours from Jacksonville. I'm not sure where the technician is or why he's not here but this is ridiculous. I have wasted my entire day off waiting around yet again for him to show.

I asked them to come out to give me an estimate. The contractor came out and told me I had galvanized pipes, I already knew that, that is why I wanted them to come out. No discussion on fees when I made the appointment by phone. Got a bill in for 235.00, I refused to pay and they sent me to collections.

I called a friend for recommendations of a plumber, I called that plumber and he came out in a David Gray trick and gave me an estimate with another plumbing company's name.

They wanted $530 labor to instal 2 bath faucets which is $350 an hour labor. Paid them $49 for showing up even when I told them over the phone I wanted two bath faucets installed. Never recommend them or use them at those price gouging costs.

Called David Gray Plumbing for a snaked clean out on my kitchen drain. Have this done once a year. When they have come out in the past, it cost me about $140.
They have changed their pricing policy. They wanted to make it fair for everyone, so they have a flat rate for services now. Explained (after they arrived) that some people's jobs were taking so long to do that it was just too expensive for them. So now the little guys get to pick up some of the cost! Worst part was that they didn't tell us that on the phone. We paid the $49.00 service call and sent them on their way. Advantage plumbing in Atlantic Beach (been around for 40 years), came the next day and did the work for $75. Took them 20 minutes.
Stay away from David Gray Plumbing. They have changed their ways. When I called to speak to them (twice they wouldn't return my call), I was told that was their policy now, was referred to a supervisor. He never returned my call either. Worst customer service ever. Didn't even want a refund on the service call, just wanted an explanation and an apology for their poor customer service! Stay away from David Gray. Still waiting for a phone call, If I get one, I will adjust this review and let you know what happened.

We recently needed the bathroom shower drain snaked out. We were told there would be a $49 service fee, which we thought was fair. We were also told that the plumber would see what needed to be done and give us a price. I'm giving one star bc the worker came on time and was very nice.
When he got here, he called the office and told them we needed the one drain snaked. They told him to charge us $209. He went right to work and was done in LITERALLY less than 3 minutes and was ready to walk out the door. So that's basically $160 for 3 minutes (or LESS) of work. That means, they make a little over $53 PER MINUTE, which comes out to $3,200 per hour. NO ONE is worth that!!! I'd rather deal with a slow drain! No, I would NOT recommend this company!

Had a leak under my sink. Phone service was friendly and quick. Plumber got to us way faster than I thought. Orson Braddock was very friendly and straight to the point. Fast quote. Got to work and in no time it was fixed. Orson even showed me where my cut offs were. Best experience I have ever had. Prices are good too. I highly recommend them not to mention I will definitely be using them from now on.

Terrible service. It was emergency for me - there was a heavy leak. I called at 8 PM, mentioned it was energency and even 1 AM no one appeared here. I called again, technician was very rude and said I could call other plumbing company. Don't call this company, it's crappy service.
