Guy S.Hired David Electric to install a Tesla car charger and add an outlet in my kitchen. Dave and his crew showed up on time and did an excellent job at a reasonable price. The next day we thought we had a problem when we popped the breaker. Dave sent someone out promptly. Turns out it was just an extension cord issue, but I really appreciated the follow-up service. Highly recommend.
We recently moved to Santa Clarita and needed an electrician. I was impressed with the high reviews this company received. I needed two new 20A circuits installed - one for large garage equipment (compressor and power saw), and the other for outside holiday lights. Jeremy responded to my call and went over my requirements and gave me a price. It seemed on the high side for what appeared to be (per Jeremy) about a 4-hour job. But I liked the reviews and gave him the go-ahead and the install date was set for 10/19/23.
Jeremy arrived on time with another employee who was actually going to do the work because Jeremy was needed for some emergency work on another job site. He reviewed with the employee the scope of the work. The job took longer than I expected as there were some challenges in getting to the panel from inside the garage. But the employee made some changes to existing outside outlets that should not have been done, and that took some time to be redone to restore them to the original design. A new GFI outlet was to be installed as part of the scope of the project at the far end of our porch. I had explained to Jeremy that it needed to be a standalone GFI (not a daisy chain) and I had every expectation he understood what was required. The employee felt otherwise and insisted that I would have to pay an additional $165 to have the outlet he put in changed out for the standalone GFI. It was getting late in the afternoon and I just wanted the job to be completed, and so I felt I had no choice but to agree.
It was unfortunate that Jeremy had to go on another job as I would not have expected to have our agreed price changed, and I would have felt better with the overall experience. The work the employee did appears to have been done fine. But if you retain this company to do work, just be sure everything you expect is spelled out in detail. The employee with whom you discuss the scope of the project may not be the one who later does the work, and that can lead to problems. I dropped my guard and did not follow my own advice, and it ended up costing me additional money that I really did not have to spend.
Randall M.David's electric put in the electrical for my split duct. I also had them put in a second panel inside my job because the previous system was overloaded. They gave a fair quote, had great communication and delivered as promised. I will go to them for any future electrical needs!
Answered very fast ! Scheduled me same day. Very fast and efficient! Great work! 100 % great quality ! And thats a total of three jobs! Thank you Dave!
Sylvia M.Had a new electrical panel with hookup for whole house generator and a few other outlets installed. David and his crew are very professional and informative. We will definitely have them out again for more outlets and ceiling fans. Great job guys! Thank you!
Ajay J.I needed to get a couple of breakers replaced. David showed up on time, gave a fair estimate, completed the work on the same day and was professional with helpful advice on some other additions I was considering.
Edward P.I was referred to David by the gentleman that did the home inspection when I purchased my house in Sagus. I contacted David and advised him that I needed an EV charger and to prep for my house to be transitioned to Solar
David was a straight shooter and explained all the costs upfront and was patient in educating me in navigating around the EV charging and solar knowledge domain.
After we agreed upon the work, his team showed up on time removed the old panel, and replaced it with a brand new panel along with the EV charger.
Nice to see pros at work who take pride in their craft. They made sure all the devices and breakers were working as expected
I plan to use David's team for additional Electric Upgrades around my house
Great customer service and always on time. David Electric installed a generator inlet that allows me to easily connect a generator to supply power to my house in case of a power outage. In my case I wanted to be able to use the built in inverter generator in my Ford F150 PowerBoost as my backup power source, which requires the inlet to be wired differently than for most generators. They dugout out and it works great.
Tanya H.Came out and replaced an outlet in our garage. Was very professional and quick. Answered many questions about my EV and even did some research for me on different EV chargers. Really nice guy. Highly recommend.
Landon C.I contacted this gentleman to correct some diy things I should NOT have done. Nonetheless I hate ARC breakers.
This man came out so quickly I was thrilled. Perfect time to call him lol.
He fixed my issue so quickly and was not hesitant to tell me politely to stfu (I was watching him mess with breaker wires while the power was on - made me nervous af! Haha)
He fixed everything within 10min. So I asked him to correct an error made by another electrician recently. He had some choice words for the man whose work he fixed. Lol rightfully so.
