Albert from David Electric is really good. Unlike a lot of electricians that try to give you a quote for an electric car charger over the phone or by email, Albert actually came to my house and took a look. He was very careful and explained to me what the best location was in terms of both convenience and safety.

He gave me a fair price as compared to other quotes that I had gotten and arranged for the permit and inspection. We passed on the first try. One week after the charger was installed, we had a power outage and the charger stopped working. We called him and he came over the same day. It turned out that the charger had to be reset.

We have been very satisfied with David Electric and would definitely use him again for our electrical needs.

Back in July I asked Albert for an estimate on a Main Electrical Panel upgrade and kitchen remodel ( have to upgrade panel first ). Albert saw my 100 amp panel w/ underground wiring. He said not to call him, but PG&E to trench ( $10k- $15k )for a 200 amp panel. I told him I don't need 200 amp, just a larger 100 amp panel for the kitchen circuits. He didn't agree.
PG&E, City of San Jose and the company I used said a larger 100 amp is sufficient.
Saved myself thousands of dollars and non-waisted months not using Albert.
