This company is highly unprofessional and I would not recommend them to anyone. I work for a property management company, and we contacted Dash Electric to check out one of our properties in which the tenant reported many of the outlets were not working. We contacted this company first because they have a significant number of 5 star reviews and offer FREE estimates.

The electrician came out and provided an estimate. We were unable to get approval from the homeowner on the repairs due to the cost being higher than anticipated for the scope of work needed. We eventually went with another company for the needed repairs, at a significantly lower cost.

I received a text from the owner of Dash Electric this morning at 7:46am saying ""Thanks for wasting my time."" (Screenshot attached.) This is incredibly unprofessional.

As a property management company, our duty is to ensure maintenance requests from tenants are handled in a timely fashion while also doing so in a cost effective manner to the homeowner. While we regret we weren't able to approve the estimate Dash Electric provided, we were grateful for their time and effort to come take a look and provide the estimate. I don't understand why the owner felt the need to text me that we wasted his time.

Whether you are a property manager or homeowner, you reserve the right to shop around and choose the service vendor that best suits your needs and budget. Unfortunately, Dash Electric does not respect that and feels the need to text and belittle you if you do not move forward with their recommended repairs.

In discussing the estimate with Dash Electric, my boss had mentioned that we had electrical needs at other properties we were needing assistance on, including larger projects like full panel replacement for at least two other properties. We'll be taking that business elsewhere now.

A recommendation to the owner: if your time is truly that valuable that you feel the need to harass anyone who chooses not to proceed with your services, you should consider charging a trip/diagnostic fee instead of offering/promoting free estimates.

Called David to fix some outlets and switches on a rental unit but he ended up also updating my really old breaker panel and wiring, all within reasonable time.

David is an honest guy and communicative and I would recommend him for electrical work.

First time home buyer and got ripped off the night I closed with a good amount of my circuit breakers cut and ripped out. I did research and saw what I liked from the photos and reviews. Called and spoke with David and he answered right away and called back quickly when he had a moment. He was very professional and quick to come out and help out. My review is a bit late but they took care of us and got us back on our feet quickly without the price hurting too bad. Will be my goto for any other electric requests!
