I did not ask for an estimate, thinking these guys could be trustworthy. He replaced one double pole breaker and one ground bar. Sourced the parts after the fact and they were 15$. One hour of labor, him and his son charged 675$. Refused to give us an itemized receipt when we asked for services rendered, and then threatened to call the police on us when we contested the bill. Also threatened to sue us for ""refusal of payment"" even though he was holding our signed check in his hand. These guys are criminals, do not recommend at all.

Darling Electric was phenomenal! I called Darling last night AFTER HOURS and they answered!!! I cold called at least 4 other contractors in the area, including a 24 hour one, and none of them answered except Darling!! They even accommodated me early the next morning! The service was fast, friendly, and very professional and everything works great! Pricing was more then fair and reasonable and I had kind and courteous service. Thanks again so much. Would 100% recommend Darling Electric for all electrical needs.

I just got ripped off to the tune of $230 for the son of the owner to install a switch that not only did not function correctly but kept the solar part of my water heater from turning on. Additionally, imagine an electrician that has to leave my home to get a switch--how can he not have one in his truck?
I thought these people were honest--boy, was I wrong.

The electricians arrived timely, rates reasonable, friendly and knowledgeable. They installed a transfer box for a portable generator and a flood light near the pool. Their work ethnics are excellent , they clean after the work was complete,and the transfer box and light look like they were installed when the house was build.

Showed up at my door 25 minutes after being called. Richard was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable. He did something I had never seen before. While most repair service personnel don't want you looking over their shoulder while they work, Richard encouraged me to watch what he was doing, explained EVERYTHING in detail and tutored me in basic electric wiring. Never in my 65 years have I ever encountered a service repair person so ready to teach and explain things. At the completion of the job it was almost like two old friends talking to each other. This is a prime example of how customer service SHOULD be ! To top it all off his prices were well within reason. I have no reservation whatsoever in recommending Darling Electric !

While the work performed was satisfactory, the technician friendly and knowledgeable, and they were timely, their billing rates were without question unreasonable. They did provide a bid up front before the job was accepted, however any additional work discovered was billed out at the same rates as if they had to go to a new job. I will not use them ever again nor would I recomend them.
