2nd project with Danios. First time 7 years ago to replace electrical main and panel in my 1927 home. Great job and price. Professional, neat and keeps his word. He just fixed a few items in my garage and installed a ground (none existed in our detached garage.). Really a nice man (and his son is an apprentice) and 100% trustworthy.

Iosif (he goes by Joseph) just finished our electrical upgrade today. I was amazed at how clean his work is. He is prompt, precise, and well versed in building codes and specs. We upgraded our electrical main and replaced our breaker panel because the previous equipment was known to be a fire risk. His wiring for the circuit breaker was so well organized and streamlined with sheaths bundling like wires, that I had to take a photo before the dry wall went up. The city inspector saw his work on the panel and described his work as ""very clean."" At each phase, he clearly explained the next steps and wanted you to understand how the job was progressing. . After the job's completion, he thoroughly cleaned the area of dust/debris and walked me through the features of the new panels. I wish everyone had his work ethic and understanding of the importance of communication. He does a lot of electrical jobs in the Bay Area, so don't hesitate work with Joseph. License #874914.

Iosif has done several electrical projects large and small for us over the last 14 years and two houses.

His work is top quality. He works all over the East Bay. He is extremely knowledgeable of the electrical code. He does the work himself. He takes the time to explain the scope of the work and does not mind repeating as needed. He listens and is approachable. He communicates effectively by email, text or phone. He provides organized and detailed invoices. He provides suggestions and options and politely talked us out of several bad ideas. He is willing to work around other contractors. He comes to work with the right attitude, on time and with all materials in hand as he agreed. Iosif never complained about the heat even when he had to work in the attic. If anything, we heard him singing and appreciating that he had a job.

We hired Iosif Adamache to replace the old knob and tube wiring in our attic and install a new main breaker panel and electric service for the house. He was very generous with his time in explaining the work and going over the contract. His workmanship was excellent, done according to code, clean, and tidy. He also finished ahead of schedule and took care of pulling permits with the city. We would hire him again without any hesitation.

I own a 1907 Berkeley home with VERY old wiring and complicated systems, and after seeing stellar reviews on Berkeley Parents Network, we hired Iosif to replace the knob and tube wiring in our basement. He also installed light fixtures, and repaired some dangerous electrical issues in the basement. I was so glad to have worked with him, and I highly recommend him to anyone looking for an honest, hard-working, competent, careful electrician. More than any contractor I have worked with, he takes the time to explain his work, and he is VERY up-front about his charges, his schedule, etc. He could have suggested that we fix all kinds of things with our electrical systems, which are old, but instead he focused on the most glaring and dangerous issues.

I had a rough time with Danios Electric. Iosif said he would be doing the work himself or that his partner would do it, but instead it was an employee who was new to the trade. There were a bunch of missed opportunities, where a proactive electrician might have said for example, ""While the wall is open, you might want to consider doing this as well."" As another example of little annoying things, he charged me several hundred dollars to pull the permit, but then after I paid him, he wanted to save a little money on his expenses, so he understated the amount of work that needed to be done.
Anyway, he is competent, his work passed inspection, but of all the contractors I used for the renovation, Iosif was the most challenging for me.

I can't recommend Iosif Adamache highly enough. He is the owner and a licensed contractor who works all over the East Bay. Iosef represents a work ethic that I thought at disappeared. He updated our electrical system a reasonable rate and explained our options clearly. He even finished the job early, and was amazingly efficient and tidy.

Iosif was responsive, very reasonably priced, and timely in his work.
I was quite nervous about the knob and tube wiring I had purchased in my new Alameda Island house but he put me at ease with explaining what would happen and did a very professional job in the rewiring. The holes that were made in the walls were very small and he and his crew made a point of only cutting the plaster only when necessary.
I would use him again in a heart beat!

I'm so happy I found Iosif (sounds like Joseph) Adamache! (LIC. C-10 # 874914). I had looked on Yelp for an electrician and none of the reviews stood out. So I checked on the Berkeley Parents network and 5 people recommended Iosif and that emailing him was the best way to reach him. One hour after I sent the email he responded with a time the next morning! He was also on time too, which is huge in my book because I'm so busy.
Being a woman homeowner I've met with contractors who talk down to me, don't want to explain anything to me, and then try and cheat me out of my hard-earned $$$ because they can.
Not only did Iosif fix my problem (lights and sockets in my master suite wouldn't work and circuit breaker wasn't doing anything), he explained what the larger problem was and long term what needed to happen to fix it. I knew I had electrical issues, but Iosif explained why I had them.
VERY ethical, reasonable prices, and I love that he took the time to explain what was going on, and tell me more about electrical currents and why things are wired the way they are. Knowledge is power and I feel like I know what I'm talking about. (Circuit breaker, breaker lines, , amps and wire gauges....I got it!)
I'm so glad I made contact with an electrician who I can work with, who is fair, honest, does the work quickly and thoroughly. He really is a gem and I'll be sure to use him again. Thank you Iosif!
