We bought our first home in July and have been wanting to update the chandeliers. Found Dan Matthews electric on Yelp, read through the reviews and contacted him. Dan was prompt and did great work! We love our new lights!! We will need to replace some ceiling fans in the future and will definitely be calling again!

I decided to do a retrofit project on my own and was under the impression that I had done something wrong. I called Dan and explained the situation. He understood everything right away.

I had some specific concerns about particular aspects of what I had done, but he assured me that although I may have taken a more complicated approach to do the job, I was in good shape and didn't need to worry.

I am so glad I called Dan! He saved me so much time and headache. I would highly recommend him.

I stumbled upon some electrical issues when i was trying to replace a fountain pump and emailed three companies. Dan was the only one who called back. We originally set up an appointment without scheduling the time of day. When i tried to contact him later about a time, i was worried because i did not receive a reply. I found out later he wasn't well and so that one gets a pass. . .

He is Covid-safe, is professional, diagnosed the problem, installed a GFI and made a couple more recommendations about my options for the circuit in question. I asked if i could tag along behind him so i could learn and he had no problem with this.

Then we went up in the attic where i had some Romex cable that was poorly routed. He quickly fixed this, making sure everything was done professionally (keeping the new junction box in an out of the way location, routing the new cable and securing it, etc.). He does good work.

The price was a bit higher than others i had contacted but for the service, I'll take that any day. Thanks Dan!

No wonder Dan has 5 stars! I can backup the other reviews. Dan answers his phone, comes over right away and can schedule the job super quick. I needed him to install 10 Leviton Wifi switches for my kids room because well, kids don't know how to turn off lights and rolling blackouts are so not fun in California.

I ordered all the switches from Amazon and checked them all before Dan came over. He got to work right away and it took him a little longer than anticipated because I didn't have a neutral wire for the switches. Towards the end of the project we realized that Amazon put the wrong switch in the wrong box (must have been a return) and I couldn't hook the switch up to the app. Dan felt so bad he tried to stay and take it out and put the old one back, free of charge, but the switch works I just cannot link to our Wifi and app. This is an Amazon problem.

Dan's work was so great! I am super weird about my paint. Some electricians I have to repaint a wall when they are done, but Dan's work was so clean and he lined up the wall plates and the screw lines perfectly and cleaned up after himself. Will definitely be calling him again for future projects. Also love he is local!

Dan and his staff installed multiple LED lights across our kitchen, dining, and family room. He retrofitted 6 florescent can lights in the kitchen to match the new lights placed in the family and dining room. Dan and staff were clean, arrived on time, and wore a mask as requested.

Dan recently installed two Goal Zero home integration kits to work with my main breaker box.
These two home integration kits allow me to safely switch a total of 8 circuits from my main breaker box to Goal Zero battery power.

Dan did a great job. Very neat installation, very professional.
Communication prior to the job was great.
Dan arrived on time and worked very efficiently while keeping my power on until the last 30 minutes or so of the install.

I feel that I am now prepared for any surprise power outages 2021 and the future years will bring.
