We found DS Electrical through the positive reviews on Yelp. We had Lawrence put in a new ballast in our kitchen light fixture, adding/replacing floodlights, and installing 2 security cameras. Lawrence was very professional and worked quickly and at a reasonable cost. He was also kind and patient in answering questions, explaining things, and was flexible when working out a schedule with us (as we needed to first have the changes approved by our association). Lawrence even helped to remove our old smoke detector and fix our doorbell which had not been working for a few years. We highly recommend DS Electrical and would call him again should we have any other electrical issue.

Lawrence is very professional and explains what happen and what needs to be fixed. Day after Thanksgiving , It started with 2-mo'os or lizards that decided to play inside the sub Panel and give us a scare with a loud noise and a flash coming from the sub panel and left us with partial power where just the ice box was still running which we were happy because all the Thanksgiving leftovers would have gone to waste. Where HECO came late in the night to make sure there side was good .Saturday morning around 7:30 I called Lawrence and explained what happen thinking it was just the circuit breaker . He was able to squeeze us in which was wonderful and we are grateful for that , he came inspected and said not just the breaker , need to replace the panel. He is very honest and will tell you slits all about the safety , lucky our house did not go up in flames . So of course he tells us what will happen which includes HECO coming out in a Saturday to disconnect power . A big mahalo to HECO trouble shooter rep that came in a timely manner. Within 3 hours from start to finish with heco disconnect and reconnect , our box was done . I love that Lawrence focus on the safety and was able to give us full house power again. He will be our new electrician from now on. I recommend if you need a electrician give him a call. Mahalo Lawrence.

Very poor customer communication. Does not explain a thing, nor tries. Communication is the most important thing in customer service, in any business in general. D S electrical has NO COMMUNICATION at all. Very sad to see a local business operate in this manner. Save your time and money by supporting a business that appreciates clients no matter how big or SMALL of a project!!!!!
