Darwin helped me replace a chandelier in a tricky location (extra high ceiling over a staircase), a job that was turned down by a few other electricians. He came prepared with a tall step ladder, but the ceiling was still too high. He was able to come up with a solution by building a platform which enabled him to do the job safely. When his helper cleaning up afterward, they noticed my broom hanger was loose and detached from the wall, they fixed it for me with no extra charge. The price was fair, the work was great, and they went the extra mile. I highly recommend Darwin and will invite him back for future projects

Do not believe the other reviews. Darwin is absolutely dishonest and untrustworthy.

I asked him to help me evaluate a blown fuse. He troubleshoots it by flipping a switch and charged me $100 for it.

Then it gets worst, I was busy with a work trip so I did not get a chance to pay him yet, and I get a text from him at 10:15pm threatening he will sue me for not paying him. First of all, it has not even been a month yet and he's already threatening me. Secondly, good luck with finding an attorney that will accept defending him on this case and take it seriously! I really don't care too much about paying $100. However, I do care when people like this charge unethical rates and rip me off! It's just not right.

Darwin responded to my request promptly and came out on short notice to take a look at an issue I had with my electrical meter and mains wiring. His quote was fair and he was able to schedule the work with a short turnaround time. The problem needed some creative solutions but Darwin was all over it and got the job done, no issues. He even went the extra mile to fix some carpentry that was out of scope of the job.

Highly recommend and I would call him again for any electrical issue.

Darwin came a day earlier which worked out well for both of us. He was very prompt and courteous. We could not find the electrical transmitter so he resorted to plan b and it worked out perfectly. He took the job and help me install the Ring Doorbell where I got stuck due to no power going to the doorbell wires. He even mounted and secured the device without me asking. I can tell he takes pride in his work and would use him again and recommend him to my family and friends!

I can't speak to his skills but I can speak to his trustworthiness. We asked for him to do a job and had him come over to inspect the project. Upon investigation - he found that we didn't actually need the work done. Instead of doing the unnecessary work and charging us, he told us to hold off. Very much respect the honesty.

We needed an electrician to upgrade our Condo unit electrical panel from 60 amp to 100 amp as well as run a new 240v/30 amp disconnect box and 120v regular outlet from our panel to an area in our garage where we were re-locating a new hybrid heat pump water heater. Darwin tackled it in one day with the absolute minimal interruption of our electrical service. I highly recommend Darwin. Fast, knowledgeable and friendly.
