I found D4 Electric through Abella's Heating and Air. As one would know from prior posts, I only do business with people that I am convinced of their integrity.
Dominick/D4 Electric sure did not disappoint me! Dominick sent Mark out to see the site and prepare the bid. The bid was neither on the high or low end. It appeared to be a reasonable price and I already felt confident with both Dominick and Mark, so I accepted the bid.
Mark came out to meet with a SMUD representative to get approval for the changes. Mark scheduled two additional days to perform the work. He was punctual and completed everything in a timely manner. He kept the work area clean while routing everything quite neatly.
I contacted Dominick prior to the final day of work to see how he wanted paid (sent with Mark or sent by mail). Dominick responded: After Mark is finished and after the inspector oks the work, and after SMUD reconnects you, you may send the check with Mark.
Nothing but kudos for these folks! I strongly recommend D4 for all of your electrical needs. Straight-shooters all the way!

Dominic with D 4 Electric showed up in a mask on time. Trouble-shot and repaired the electrical issue very thoroughly and efficiently. Had all the parts with him. What I thought was going to be a very expensive fix, was actually much less expensive than what I anticipated. Dominic also explained to me what was causing the issue and showed me how it was repaired. That gave me great confidence in the quality of his work.

Dominick from D4 Electric was great to work with and easily handled our unusual job. We were building a outdoor platform for a year-round tent and outdoor kitchen. We needed it to have electrical power and thought the old underground line the previous owner's had used for a spa might work. He came, talked us through the options, tested the old line for safety, and came up with a great design to get us the power we needed without any unsightly lines or power boxes. He was timely and efficient and his work was tidy and thoughtfully done. We are beyond excited to have our backyard 'glamping' hub all set up and running beautifully. Will definitely call D4 Electric for future jobs and would fully recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable and fair electrician.

Extremely poor workmanship - exposed junction boxes and live wire ends in an attic with blown insulation, improperly installed panel box, damaged wires, incorrectly sized wires. I had to pay hundreds of dollars fixing their mistakes, after paying them thousands of dollars for a job that was poorly done.

Stay in a 2bed 11/2 bathroom townhome arden area. Everyday 4x a day my entire electrical power goes off downstairs. Kitchen bathroom a.c. lights tv. HE'LL NAWL!!! Rent too much have my home with no a.c. it's took hot.. D 4 electric sent DOMINIC to my home. THANK YOU DOMINIC because of you I will suffer no more. He came before time schedule and called making me feel like a priority. Proficient and Efficient. Dominic was not afraid to get his hands dirty as he went from fence to fence to get to the root of the problem. Told me my power would be off for two hours but that he would work as fast as he can. I appreciate D 4 electric and Dominic thank you!!
