I called Joe asking that he come out to repair/replace a phone jack for me and replace a couple of wall sockets. I told him my main reason for having him out was to fix a phone plug, and specifically asked him to bring new electrical sockets with him. He said he would give the phone plug a try, so I scheduled an appointment. When he got here and I showed him the two Electrical outlets that needed replacing, he said he would have to go back to the shop to get new sockets. When I reminded him that I specifically asked that he bring sockets with him, he was vague about not having the right color, then offered to split the difference with me on the time it would take (one hour) to go get the sockets. He also said that he could not service the phone jack, which was my main reason for calling him. He was here for 20 minutes, so I paid the $100 minimum and sent him on his way. Find someone else who will actually bring the materials he needs to his job. Unless you don't mind paying for additional hour while he runs his errands.

I have used Joe for panel replacements, repairs and new wiring on 3 rental homes. He knows the trade, gets the job done and works well with the city departments. I look forward to using him again on the next job.

I have worked with many electricians in my life. Joe has been great. He has installed a solar rooftop fan, checked the electrical panel and subpanel, checked the A/C wiring, checked the gas stove electrical ignition, replaced some outlets and fans and fan remotes, improved a noisy bathroom exhaust fan, and spent honest time troubleshooting a microwave that dimmed kitchen lights and then replaced the kitchen chandelier. He is not an electrician that tries to jack up fees, and his rates are very reasonable. He makes good recommendations and is just plain pleasant and calm to work with. I am glad I found him and recommend him to anyone.

Joe was FABULOUS! He was able to come out within 24 hours of me contacting him. We had some previous electrical work done by an electrician who did NOT provide us with a quality product or service. Joe came out, troubleshot the issues, found the problem and fixed it.

He also checked out our airstream trailer: told us what we could do, what was causing the issues that we were having and gave us different options as to how to fix it. He hustled the entire time he was here, and was very knowledgable. He only did what we asked, and was willing to stay until I was satisfied.

We still have work that needs to be done and Joe will always be the guy I call and recommend going forward!

This was the rudest encounter I have ever had with a service provider. Showed up an hour late, immediately shoved a form in my wife's face, and then yelled at me and my wife for not moving forward with his services because he did not originally tell us of his initial diagnostic fee ($95). Had we known that we would not have scheduled him to come out since we have had multiple electricians in the past come out for projects without requiring that fee. After he left he left nasty messages on my phone, cussing me out. I will never consider this man for work or refer my friends to him. His number has been blocked from my phone.

Joe came to fix some electrical problems we were having at our outdoor venue in east austin. He was fast and professional at a reasonable price.
