I am so glad that I was referred to Custom Electrical Solutions. A good friend had chosen Custom Electrical Solutions and was quick to refer me to them when I needed an urgent repair.
When I called I spoke with Nicole, she is absolutely professional, personable and knowledgeable, all of which I appreciated because some other companies fall short in these categories.
I was given an arrival time window and they arrived when they said they would! ""Joey"" from Custom Electrical Solutions got right to work diagnosing the issues and repairs. They were up front about costs and when I compared their quote to other electrical service companies in this area I found that they are lower in price.
This company is family owned and operated, another reason that I appreciate them! When you call, you speak with one of the owners. You can call a bigger business but you will probably pay more and receive less.

After reading among reviews here, I contracted Custom Electrical for some upgrading in my condo. Very good reviews, and nearby.
I'm patient enough to have called them again when I hadn't received a response the first time I called, and finally I got him to come & give me an estimate. I explained what I needed, and, because I hadn't gotten other estimates, I figured that his price was pretty good. My bad. (Hell- changing the outlets & covers was something I could've- and should've done). And by offering to pay cash, I saved myself a whopping fifty bucks from his price.
They came to work- and not when the owner told me he would. I guess I wasn't offering a big enough job? But I waited until he came to work.
They did the work properly. I have no issue with their ability. And the assistant guy was great. But after starting the work, they disappeared for some days before coming back to finish. Some other, more important job, I believe...
The owner then charged me extra for something that should've been included in my not so cheap price. He sent his assistant to do the work later.
I paid him the cash when the job had been properly completed.
And then, about three weeks later, I noticed some light peeking through the hatch to my crawl space above. (I never go up there...) They left the light on.
I want to point out that my job was done well over a year ago, and because the owner is a small businessman with a family to support, I was going to just let it go. But in thinking back to this, I really believe I was not charged a fair price for the services rendered, and he worked at his own convenience.
I would not recommend Custom Electrical.

Just moved into a new home and needed a reliable electrician. I am big on using Yelp for reviews so I reached out to Joel. Thankful I did. Completed a large job and I am thrilled with the results. Friendly and responsive in his communication before during and after the project. He even pointed out some areas of concern after showing him other work done by a previous electrician on site. I will definitely use Custom Electrical Solutions for any electrical issues I have in the future. Thanks Joel and crew!

In my industry, it is of utmost importance to have a dependable and reliable Electrician on call and at an arms reach. I can say that without a doubt, Joey is one of the best in the biz! I have worked with Custom Electrical now for over 8 years at two different Condominium Associations and he has always been honest, fair and reasonably priced. His response time is always fast and hes always very thorough. If you don't fully understand something, he breaks it down into layman's terms. Truly a master at his craft!

Joey came in and was honest and very informative of the work I needed done. I was so impressed I had him replace my electrical panel, put in recess lighting in the bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. Next he replaced all the electrical outlets and install my ring doorbell and floodlights. Everything was done in a neat and timely manor. He was very respectful of my home and very clean. I have future work to be done and will use him. I also referred him to my Dad and he put in his ring doorbell and flood lights. Great job Joey. Thanks.

Very glad I found him here! Totally deserves all the 5-star ratings. Joey gave a very reasonable estimate and was here to do the job the next day. Being an older home, lots of issues came up that he had to troubleshoot, including repairing bad work done by others. The job took longer than he anticipated, but at the end, Joey asked for only a bit more than his estimate. A super honest, no BS guy, who does quality work. Highly recommended!

I needed to have my main exterior circuit breaker box reconnected to the concrete wall. They came out quickly, made the repairs. They also looked at multiple of smaller projects and provided quotes. Very professional and down to earth.
