I had a different company come out to service our AC before the summer heat hit hard. We have a home warranty and when the first company said there was a leak and rust and the unit needed to be replaced, I called the home warranty and they assigned custom control associates. I do NOT recommend using custom
Control associates because they are completely unresponsive. It took almost a week for them to come out the first time and spend 15 minutes on my roof to then tell me they needed to send a senior technician out. They never came to my house when they said they would and I had to continue to call them to find out what was happening. It's been two weeks now since my initial call about the problem and the ""senior technician"" has never appeared. They have no sense of urgency, they don't return phone calls in a timely manner, and they are disorganized.

I'm still waiting for a call back from this company. Horrible customer service. Never finished the home warranty service call.

WARNING if FAH sends these guys to your place make sure you refuse service they will give the insurance the run around and act like they need part in reality there just manipulating the system to get as much service calls as possible and putting people on the back burner. Whoever is in charge of this so called company need to be in jail.

Terrible work. Overpriced. Underqualified. Rude ownership. The owner quoted me low. Thought it was great, agreed. After the fact he doubled the quote.

My AC stopped cooling and Sears guy came and didn't fix it and the services department at Sears directed me to Custom Control Associates. There was not much information on the web about them but when I contacted them I had a very pleasant experience talking to Louise who answers calls for the family owned businesses. She set me an appointment for the evening where I didn't have to take time off work. They called me 20 minutes before the appointment letting me know they are on their way. Olivie who was very knowledgeable and extremely nice figured out the issue within minutes. It took him very little time to completely diagnosed the system, find the leak, fixed it and have the AC back in service in no time. They were extremely knowledgeable , professional, and nice to work with. My heartfelt thanks to them for great customer service. For any future AC needs I will be calling them. Olivie also gave me some good tips on how to keep the AC maintained and reduced electric costs by taking simple steps.

Wonderful service twice from this great family owned business. Just before Christmas one of our furnaces stopped working and they came out and fixed in a courteous and professional manner. 3 weeks later a capacitor went out and they came back to fix. I know very little mechanically and they took the time to explain things to me. They also let me know how important it is to change out the filters not just once or even twice a year but at least 6x, every other month. They work so hard and late into the night to make sure people have their heat or air. Their work ethic and dedication to service was great. I highly recommend them!

My home warranty company put me through the wringer trying to get my HVAC repaired. After 4 other visits, they finally assigned it to Custom Controls. They are a fantastic team. Went more than the extra mile to make everything work and make me happy. i will always use them from now on. Even if my insurance won't cover it.

choose a different company. don't let your home warranty force you into using this company.

I'm one of the owners for My City Screen Printing and these guys were great. Had them hook up a converter for us and everything ran great the first time. Besides their top quality customer service and cleaning up after themselves , these guys are family owned. Who doesn't like local family owed businesses?
If I ever have a problem or questions about anything electrical, I would call these guys for the answer.

THIS COMPANY DESERVES A ZERO for 1). Being very late during a heatwave while needing our AC fixed 2.) Lying about needing a part to fix our home Air-Conditioning unit and, thereby, 3). Running a scam. Here's what happened:
We were at the beginning of a 9 day heatwave when our all home AC quit. Our Home Warranty Company put in a service order with Custom Controls Associates and gave us their phone number to follow up and to explain the situation and what we needed. They were going to be unable to get to us for a number of days despite our Home Warranty Co. explaining to them that we needed priority placement on their service list because the air quality coupled with the temperature was very likely going to result in the necessity for me to spend nights in the hospital. When we called we got a personal voice mail that simply said, ""Hi, this is Lilly. Please leave me a message"". I left a message for Lilly though I felt unsure I'd actually contacted any company at all because it was so unprofessional. When I called back, twice, later in the day, I got two more messages each different than the first and only one with the company name. This was unsettling. When I did get a call back, it was from Lilly. She couldn't schedule anything for three days so, yes...I did end up those three days in the hospital. Thanks for that Custom Control Associates: I'll forward the bill. When they finally booked a day, they also booked a window of time the service people would show up. The window was 1pm - 5pm. At 5:30 I called. Answering machine (not Voice mail). When I called at 6pm, answering machine (not voice mail). When I called at 6:30pm, answering machine (not a voice mail). I was being screened out as I was getting angrier and angrier and Lilly just, I suppose, didn't want to deal with me. Finally, around 6:45pm, when I was getting ready to leave for the hospital again, two technicians arrived. They climbed on the roof to check our AC unit. They were up there 5 minutes before coming back down and telling me they needed to order a part and wouldn't be back for 3, maybe 4 days. Unacceptable. However, it was too late to start this process over with another company, so mad, I let it go for a minute. Then, I did some research on YouTube. I watched a video, climbed up on my roof and fixed my own air-conditioning in 30 minutes by washing away the accumulated mud and changing out the oil. THEY KEPT ME IN THE HOSPITAL. THEY KEPT ME WAITING THE DAY OF SERVICE. THEY LIED ABOUT NEEDING A PART and HENCE...WERE RUNNING ONE BIG SCAM! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Custom Controls Associates: YOU'LL WAIT. THEY DON'T CARE. THEY WILL LIE. THE COMPANY IS RUNNING A SCAM! CALL SOMEONE ELSE. ANYONE Else or do like I did, and fix it yourself!
