Now at 58, I see that life is cyclical. I take pleasure in resolving electrical issues for others. This is what brings me fulfillment. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me at 714-422-7747.
Your local Service Electrician is here! I’m a retired Electrical Contractor looking to keep busy. I provide services on weekends too. I focus on troubleshooting, service, maintenance, renovations, and urgent calls. Make sure to save my number for future use: 714-422-7747.
I take care of service calls, diagnostics, and repairs. I offer pigtail services. Need additional outlets? I can set up car chargers for you. I can help with ceiling fan installations. I upgrade older bathroom exhaust fans to quieter, modern models. I’m a specialist in landscape lighting.
I no longer deal with employees crashing my service trucks or unreliable Public Works projects. I’m done with managing weekly payroll for 29 employees while I get paid monthly. At 58, I recognize that life changes. I operate solo these days. I focus on tasks that do not exceed $500. Find “Curtis Larson, Electrician” on Facebook to view my work and client testimonials.
I used to operate as Gateway Electric, Inc. with CSLB #755476 C-10 Electrical & B General license (now inactive/expired). I also had State Certification #132076, which is now expired. I share these numbers for your verification of my experience. I comply with California’s standards for Handyman services.
I admired my Grandfather for his affection and care. He was an Electrical Contractor, and one of my uncles served as a General Foreman. I got a late start as I began purchasing real estate at 19. I bought a triplex in Long Beach as my first investment. I acquired my home in Belmont Shore at the age of 27. It was a thrilling moment. Regrettably, the market fell, prompting me to sell all my rentals and my house. That was a humbling lesson. I swiftly enrolled in the Electrician Program at LA Trade Tech, finished four years, and secured my C10 & B licenses to bid on Public Works projects valued between $100,000 and $500,000 (schools). I built cell sites for Nextel, Sprint, and T-Mobile across Southern California. I handled modifications as well. Additionally, I worked with insurance companies (State Farm and Liberty Mutual) and restoration firms to rebuild burned or flooded properties.
Now, I’m a one-man operation seeking service, maintenance, and repair work. I’m available for remodeling work as well.
